The present disclosure provides a method and a device for determining a motion parameter of an autonomous mobile device. The method includes: an anti-fall sensor detects a current chassis-floor distance between a chassis of the autonomous mobile device and a current floor, and transmits the current chassis-floor distance to a processor; the processor determines a correction coefficient corresponding to the current chassis-floor distance; the processor obtains an output of an optic flow sensor; the processor determines the motion parameter corresponding to the current chassis-floor distance based on a correction coefficient, a calibration coefficient, and the output of the optic flow sensor, which increases the accuracy of the motion parameter obtained through computation.

Method and device for determining motion parameter of autonomous mobile device

An autonomous mobile device and a control method are disclosed. The autonomous mobile device includes a main body and an imaging device, a detecting device, a light source assembly, and a controller disposed at the main body. The imaging device is configured to acquire image information in a predetermined direction of the main body. The predetermined direction includes an upward direction of the main body. The detecting device is configured to detect obstacle information in the upward direction of the main body. A light outputting direction of the light source assembly includes the upward direction of the main body. The controller is configured to, when the detecting device detects the obstacle within a predetermined distance range in the upward direction of the main body, control the light source assembly to turn on to provide illumination for the imaging device.

Autonomous mobile device and control method thereof

An autonomous mobile device includes a main body, a protruding element disposed at a top portion of the main body, and a protection cover disposed at an outer side of the protruding element to cover the protruding element. The protection cover is movable relative to the protruding element when collided. The autonomous mobile device also includes a joystick sensor including a housing, a joystick, and a parameter detecting device. The autonomous mobile device further includes a position restoring device connected with the protection cover and configured to restore, after the protection cover experiences a displacement caused by an external force, the protection cover to a position where the protection cover is free from the external force. A first end of the joystick is connected to an inner portion of the housing. A second end of the joystick is connected to the protection cover.
