A display panel, a display device, and a method for manufacturing a display panel are provided. The display panel includes a base substrate, an organic light emitting diode (OLED) device layer, and a thin film encapsulation layer, all of which sequentially stacked and disposed. The thin film encapsulation layer includes a first inorganic encapsulation layer, an organic encapsulation layer, and a second inorganic encapsulation layer, all of which are sequentially stacked and disposed. A contact surface between the first inorganic encapsulation layer and the organic encapsulation layer and/or between the second inorganic encapsulation layer and the organic encapsulation layer is provided with a nanotube layer extending into the organic encapsulation layer.

A display panel and a display module, the display panel includes a substrate. The display panel includes a display area and a non-display area; a switch array layer disposed on the substrate, the switch array layer includes a first metal layer and a second metal layer; an anode layer disposed on the switch array layer, the anode layer includes a first sub-portion positioned within the display area and a second sub-portion positioned within the non-display area; viscosity of material of the second sub-portion is greater than viscosity of material of the first sub-portion. The display panel and the display module of the invention can avoid detach of the anode layer, thereby improving electrical conductivity of the anode layer.

Optical cross connects and methods for use therewith are described herein. In an embodiment, an optical cross connect includes first and second mirror arrays, first and second light sources that respectively emit first and second color coded light beams (e.g., each of which includes red, green and blue light), and first and second cameras configured to respectively capture first and second color images of the first and second color coded light beams reflected respectively from the first and second mirror arrays. The optical cross connect also includes a controller configured to perform closed loop feedback control of the first and second mirror arrays, based on the first and second color images, when the controller controls how optical signals are transferred between individual optical fibers in a first bundle of optical fibers and individual optical fibers in a second bundle of optical fibers.

One example polarization independent optical device includes an input/output preprocessing optical path and M add/drop optical paths. Any add/drop optical path can be configured to drop a first Qand a first Pthat meet a resonance condition of a microring included in the add/drop optical path such that each add/drop optical path can be configured to drop a desired optical signal. Any add/drop optical path can also be configured to transmit an input optical signal to the input/output preprocessing optical path. Therefore, when any of the M add/drop optical paths is configured to drop a desired optical signal, another add/drop optical path can be configured to add a desired optical signal.

This application discloses an optical switch and an optical switching system. The optical switch includes a first waveguide, a second waveguide, and a first movable waveguide. The first waveguide and the second waveguide are immovable relative to a substrate. The first waveguide and the second waveguide are located in a first plane, and the first waveguide and the second waveguide do not intersect. The first movable waveguide is movable relative to the substrate. If the first movable waveguide is at a first location, the first movable waveguide is optically decoupled from the first waveguide and the second waveguide, and the optical switch is in a through state. If the first movable waveguide is at a second location, the first movable waveguide is optically coupled to the first waveguide and the second waveguide, and the optical switch is in a drop state.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to a microring resonator control method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving an instruction, where the instruction is used to configure an operating wavelength of a microring resonator; determining whether the operating wavelength of the microring resonator is less than or equal to a center wavelength of a channel spectrum; and when the operating wavelength of the microring resonator is less than or equal to the center wavelength of the channel spectrum, configuring thermode power of the microring resonator based on a spacing between the operating wavelength and a first wavelength; or when the operating wavelength of the microring resonator is greater than the center wavelength of the channel spectrum, configuring thermode power of the microring resonator based on a spacing between the operating wavelength and a second wavelength.

Microring resonator control method and apparatus

Methods and apparatus for reducing the oscillation of a MEMS actuator. In one embodiment, a driving signal is generated to adjust the MEMS actuator through a set of driving wires coupled to the MEMS actuator. A motion-induced signal from the set of driving wires coupled to the MEMS actuator is received in response to the driving signal. The motion-induced signal is filtered to generate a filtered motion-induced signal. The filtered motion-induced signal is amplified to generate an amplified filtered motion-induced signal. The driving signal is adjusted based on the amplified filtered motion-induced signal to reduce the oscillation of the MEMS actuator.

Active MEMS damping

This application discloses an optical switch and an optical switching system. Both a first waveguide and a second waveguide of the optical switch are immovable relative to a substrate and are located in a first plane. A first deformable waveguide is also located in the first plane. A first section of the first deformable waveguide is fixed relative to the substrate, and a second section other than the first section can deform under control of a first actuator. When the first deformable waveguide is in a first state, the first deformable waveguide is optically decoupled from the first waveguide and the second waveguide, and the optical switch is in a through state. When the first deformable waveguide is in a second state, the first deformable waveguide is optically coupled to the first waveguide and the second waveguide, and the optical switch is in a drop state.

The present application discloses an optical switch, including a first optical waveguide, a second optical waveguide, and a first heater, where a place at which a distance between the first optical waveguide and the second optical waveguide is the smallest is a junction; the first heater is adjacent to the third optical sub-waveguide; and there is a first dielectric material between the first heater and the third optical sub-waveguide, and there is a second dielectric material between the third optical sub-waveguide and the fourth optical sub-waveguide, where a thermal conductivity of the first dielectric material is greater than a thermal conductivity of the second dielectric material. The optical switch has advantages such as high heating efficiency, a small quantity of heaters, and simple control.

This application discloses an optical switch and an optical switching system. The optical switch includes a first waveguide, a second waveguide, and a movable waveguide, the first waveguide and the second waveguide are immovable relative to a substrate and are located in a plane, and an optical coupling relationship exists between the first waveguide and the second waveguide; the movable waveguide is movable relative to the substrate, and the movable waveguide is optically coupled to an input section or an output section of the first waveguide; when the movable waveguide is located at a first location, the movable waveguide is optically decoupled from the first waveguide, and the optical switch is in a through state; and when the movable waveguide is located at a second location, the movable waveguide is optically coupled to the input section or the output section, and the optical switch is in a drop state.

A mode converter provided in the present invention includes an input multimode waveguide, an output multimode waveguide, and a first conversion waveguide, where the input multimode waveguide is configured to receive a first signal which mode is a first mode; the first conversion waveguide has an input coupling waveguide with a first effective refractive index, and has an output coupling waveguide with a second effective refractive index; the first conversion waveguide is configured to perform, by using the input coupling waveguide, evanescent wave coupling on the first signal that is in the first mode and that is transmitted in the input multimode waveguide, and couple the first signal to the second mode of the output multimode waveguide by using the output coupling waveguide, so as to obtain the first signal in the second mode; and the output multimode waveguide is configured to output the first signal in the second mode.

Mode converter, multimode waveguide transmission apparatus, and method

A grating coupler and a preparation method thereof are provided. The grating coupler includes a substrate layer, a lower confining layer, a waveguide core layer, and an upper confining layer that are sequentially arranged. The waveguide core layer includes a submicron waveguide, a first tapered waveguide, and a waveguide array. The waveguide array includes at least two waveguide groups, the waveguide group includes at least one waveguide chain, the waveguide chain includes at least two waveguides that have different widths, and the waveguides in the waveguide chain are connected to each other. An end of the waveguide chain in the waveguide array is connected to a wide end of the first tapered waveguide, and a narrow end of the first tapered waveguide is connected to the submicron waveguide.

A first transceiving waveguide includes a first end and a second end; a polarization rotation region waveguide includes a first waveguide and a second waveguide, where the first waveguide is located above the second waveguide, the first waveguide is connected to the second end of the first transceiving waveguide, the first waveguide and the second waveguide are non-linear profile waveguides; a mode conversion region waveguide includes a third waveguide and a fourth waveguide, where the third waveguide is connected to the second waveguide, the fourth waveguide is on a same horizontal plane as the third waveguide and the second waveguide, the third waveguide and the fourth waveguide are non-linear profile waveguides; and the second transceiving waveguide includes a third end and a fourth end, where the third end of the second transceiving waveguide is connected to the fourth waveguide.

The present invention discloses a mode multiplexer/demultiplexer and a switching node. The mode multiplexer/demultiplexer includes a multi-mode optical waveguide, a first transmission optical waveguide, and a second transmission optical waveguide. The multi-mode optical waveguide includes a first mode channel and a second mode channel. The first transmission optical waveguide includes a first coupling region that includes a first fundamental-mode channel, and the first fundamental-mode channel performs optical mode coupling with the first mode channel in the multi-mode optical waveguide. The second transmission optical waveguide includes a second coupling region that includes a second fundamental-mode channel, and the second fundamental-mode channel performs optical mode coupling with the second mode channel in the multi-mode optical waveguide.
