An approach is provided for searching multilingual documents. A first classification is determined that includes a first document and other document(s) by minimizing a first distance between a first numerical fixed length vector for the first document and other numerical fixed length vector(s) for other document(s). Based on a query and a natural language detected in the query, a second document is selected. A second stream modeling the second document is encoded as a second numerical fixed length vector. Based on a distance between the first and second numerical fixed length vectors being less than a threshold, the first classification is identified as including the second document. Documents in the first classification are ranked and presented as having content matching the second document's content. At least one of the ranked documents is expressed in a natural language different from the natural language of the second document.

Searching multilingual documents based on document structure extraction

An approach is provided for searching multilingual documents. Structure components are extracted from multilingual documents. Based on the extracted components, the documents are grouped into classifications including respective sets of documents expressed in different respective natural languages. A natural language in a query is detected. One of the documents is selected based on the document having content indicated by the query and the natural language of the document matching the detected natural language. Structure components of the selected document are extracted. Based on the extracted structure components of the selected document, one of the classifications is identified as including the selected document. Other document(s) in the classification are identified and presented as having content that matches the content of the selected document. The natural language(s) of the other document(s) are each different from the natural language of the selected document.

Feedback is collected from a user during log-on to a system. The feedback from the user can be used to enhance a knowledge base. The feedback is required from the user in order for the user to gain access to the system.

A computer-implemented method for cache memory management in a distributed computing environment includes tracking, via a cache balancing engine, a plurality of vehicles operating in a first region. The method further includes executing, via the cache balancing engine, an analysis for a subset of the plurality of vehicles in the first region to determine a weighted mean velocity for each vehicle in the subset of the plurality of vehicles in the first region. The method further includes determining, via the cache balancing engine, based on the analysis, whether a second regional server tracking a second plurality of vehicles in a second region is likely to have an unbalanced cache memory, and rebalancing, via the cache balancing engine, cache memory data in the first regional server and cache memory data in the second regional server responsive to determining that the second regional server is likely to have an unbalanced cache memory.

Cache memory balancing based on moving object prediction

A mechanism is provided for controlling the internal air-quality of a vehicle. Responsive to determining that a speed of a vehicle fails to be above the predetermined low-speed threshold, a determination is made as to whether an internal air-quality from an internal air-quality sensor is better than the external air-quality from an external air-quality sensor. Responsive to the internal air-quality being better than the external air-quality, a ventilation control mechanism is signaled to utilize a recirculating-air mode, wherein the ventilation control mechanism either stays in an already initiated recirculation-air mode or switches to the recirculating-air mode. Responsive to the internal air-quality being worse than the external air-quality, the ventilation control mechanism is signaled to utilize a fresh-air mode, wherein the ventilation control mechanism either stays in an already initiated fresh-air mode or switches to the fresh-air mode.
