A cable management apparatus includes two mounting brackets, a cable management arm connected between the two mounting brackets and slidable vertically, and two elevating mechanisms. Each of the elevating mechanisms includes opposite sides respectively rotatably connected to one of the mounting brackets and abutting a bottom of the cable management arm. When the elevating mechanisms are rotated relative to the mounting brackets, the elevating mechanisms drive the cable management arm to slide vertically. The cable management arm defines a number of positioning holes. Each of the elevating mechanisms includes a locating pin to be operable to engage in one of the corresponding positioning holes to prevent the rotation of the elevating mechanisms.

Cable management apparatus

A cable management apparatus for managing a cable includes a mounting bracket slidably receiving the cable and fixing a rear end of the cable, a sliding bar slidably connected to the front end of the cable, and a rotating arm rotatably mounted to the mounting bracket and engaging with the cable. The sliding bar defines a guiding slot, which includes a driving portion extending slantingly relative to a sliding direction of the sliding bar. The rotating arm includes a rod slidably received in the guiding slot of the sliding bar. By sliding the sliding bar forward or rearward, the rod of the rotating arm slides along the driving portion of the guiding slot to rotate the rotating arm forward to stretch the cable or rotate the rotating arm rearward to wind up the cable.

An electronic device includes a casing with a side plate and encasing a power module. The power module includes a locking member and a sliding member sandwiched between the base and the cover and abutting the locking member. The sliding member is movable relative to the locking member, between a locked position in which the locking portion of the locking member is pushed by the sliding member to extend through the cover to be locked by the side plate of the casing, and an unlocked position in which the locking portion of the locking member is pressed by the sliding member to withdraw from the side plate to allow removal of the power module from the casing.

Electronic device with easily detachable power module

An exemplary embodiment of a fan module includes fan units, and each fan unit includes a box-shaped shell, a guiding plate, and a torsion spring. The box-shaped shell includes a bottom plate and two opposite side walls substantially perpendicular to the bottom plate, and each side wall has a vent defined therein. The guiding plate is rotatable relative to the bottom plate of the shell. The torsion spring includes a first torsion arm, a second torsion arm, and a coil portion. The first torsion arm and the second torsion arm are urged against the bottom plate and the guiding plate respectively by torque force applied from the coil portion. Thereby, the guiding plate is driven to a position adjacent and generally parallel to one of the side walls to obstruct the corresponding vent by the second torsion arm.

A cable management device includes a shell, a driving assembly and a cover. The shell includes a first coil winder and a second coil winder. The driving assembly is slidably fixed to the shell, the driving assembly including a sliding rack and a rotating rack. The cover is releasably latched to the shell. The cable assembly includes a first end, a second end and a coil section. The first end is fixed to the driving assembly, the second end is fixed to the shell. The coil section is wound onto the first coil winder and the second coil winder. When the driving assembly is slid out of the shell, the driving assembly stretches the coil section, and the rotating rack rotates relative to the sliding rack, bending the cable assembly.

Cable management device and server using same

An electronic device includes a housing and a mounting apparatus. The mounting apparatus is received in the housing. The mounting apparatus includes a casing and an operating assembly. The casing includes a front wall defining a slot. The operating assembly is received in the casing, and includes a handle, an elastic member, and an operating plate. The handle is pivotably connected to the casing. A portion of the handle can extend out of the casing through the slot by rotating the handle. The elastic member provides an elastic force to rotate the handle to make the portion of the handle extend out of the casing. The operating plate is slidably connected to the front wall, and can cover the slot to limit the portion of the handle from extending out of the casing and uncover the slot to allow the portion of the handle from extending out of the casing.

Electronic device having easily assembling structure

A locking mechanism is used to prevent a connector coupled to an device from accidently disengaging from the device. A cable extends from the connector. The locking mechanism includes a supporting bracket fixed to the device, and a locking member mounted to the supporting bracket and slidable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The supporting bracket defines a retaining hole. The locking member includes a protrusion and a block. When the locking member slides to the locking position, the block abuts against the connector. The protrusion is engaged in the retaining hole to keep the locking member at the locking position. When the locking member slides to the unlocking position, the block is spaced from the connector to provide an operation space for removing the connector from the device.

Locking mechanism for connector

A server rack assembly includes a rack, a chassis, and a locking device. The rack has two side plates each defining a receiving slot. The chassis receives an electronic component, and is received between the side walls. The locking device includes a bracket, a locker, and two elastic members. The bracket is positioned at an end of the chassis and adjacent to the receiving slot. The locker is fixed to the center of the bracket. The two elastic members are fixed to two opposite ends of the bracket. Each elastic member includes a protrusion and a locking piece at two opposite ends thereof. The elastic member is capable of rotating between a first position where the locker locks the locking piece and the protrusion is received in the receiving slot, and a second position where the locker unlocks the locking piece and the protrusion is released from the receiving slot.

Server rack assembly

An exemplary enclosure includes a housing, a box slidably inserted into the housing, and a pair of handles pivotably attached on the box. The housing includes ports and the box includes plugs which can be inserted into the ports, respectively. The handle includes a main body pivotably attached to the box and an operating member slidably connected to the main body. The handle can be rotated around the box to engage with a locking post of the housing to drive the plugs to be inserted into the ports. The operating member can be pulled from the main body to increase a total length of the handle. The operating member can also be pushed into the main body to reduce the total length of the handle.

An extracting apparatus for a storage module includes a bracket and a holder. The bracket includes a fastener. The holder is withdrawable mounted to the bracket. The holder is for fixing the storage module. The holder includes a handle. The handle includes an arm pivotably connecting with the holder and an operating portion pivotably connecting with the arm. The operating portion is operated to fold to abut the arm, and the fastener latching the handle to fixedly mount the holder on the bracket.

Extracting apparatus for storage module

An electronic device includes a casing with a side plate and encasing a power module. The power module includes a locking member, a sliding member, and an elastic member sandwiched between the base and the cover. The sliding member is movable relative to the locking member between a locked position in which the locking portion of the locking member is pushed by the elastic member to extend through the cover to be blocked by the side plate of the casing, and an unlocked position in which the locking member is pressed by the sliding member to withdraw from the side plate to allow removal of the power module from the casing.

Electronic device with detachable power module

A locking mechanism is used to lock a connector to an information handling device. The locking mechanism includes a supporting bracket, a locking member, and an attachment member sleeved on a cable extending from the connector and slidably coupled to the supporting bracket. The supporting bracket is cantilevered from the information handling device. The locking member is rotatably mounted to the supporting bracket, adjacent to a distal end of the supporting bracket. The locking member engages with the attachment member by rotating the locking member in a first direction, thereby locking the connector to the information handling device. The locking member disengages from the holding member by rotating the locking member in a second direction opposite to the first direction, thereby the attachment member is capable of moving away from the information handling device to release the connector from the information handling device.

A supporting device includes a loading device and a locking device. The loading device has a sidewall defining a curved first sliding slot, a second sliding slot and a fixing hole. The locking device is positioned on the sidewall, and includes a connecting pole, a swing pole, a buckle, a first and a second bolts, and a shaft. The connecting pole is positioned on an outer surface of the sidewall and defines a third sliding slot. The swing pole is attached on an inner surface of the sidewall and defines a first and a second through holes. The buckle is attached on the swing pole and defines a third through hole. The first bolt extends through the first and third through holes, and the first and third sliding slots. The second bolt extends through the second sliding slot. The shaft extends through the second through hole and the fixing hole.

A cable management apparatus for managing a switch cable includes a mounting bracket, a resilient member fixed to the mounting bracket, and a number of positioning members mounted to the mounting bracket. The switch cable is positioned between the resilient member and the positioning members, and stretched by the resilient member, thereby extending sinuously along a lengthwise direction of the mounting bracket. A rear end of the switch cable is retained to the mounting bracket.
