A main object of the present disclosure is to provide an all solid state battery in which occurrence of short circuit is inhibited. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing an all solid state battery comprising an anode including at least an anode current collector, a cathode, and a solid electrolyte layer arranged between the anode and the cathode; wherein a protective layer containing a Mg-containing particle that contains at least Mg, and also containing a polymer, is arranged between the anode current collector and the solid electrolyte layer.

Provided is an all-solid-state battery that utilizes a precipitation-dissolution reaction of metallic lithium as a reaction of a negative electrode. The all-solid-state battery has a negative electrode current collector, a Li storage layer containing a fibrous carbon material and a resin, a metal M layer capable of being alloyed with lithium, a solid electrolyte layer, and a positive electrode layer in this order.

The above object is achieved by providing an all solid state battery utilizing a deposition and dissolution reaction of a metal Li as an anode reaction, the all solid state battery comprising: an anode current collector, a porous layer comprising a resin, a solid electrolyte layer, a cathode active material layer, and a cathode current collector, in this order; wherein an electric resistance of the porous layer is 1Ω or more and 690Ω or less; and a thickness of the porous layer is 14 μm or less.

Disclosed is an all-solid-state battery, wherein the all-solid-state battery comprises a cathode comprising a cathode layer, an anode comprising an anode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the cathode layer and the anode layer; wherein the anode layer contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a lithium metal and a lithium alloy; and wherein a protective layer comprising a composite metal oxide represented by Li-M-O (where M is at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Au, Al and Sn) is disposed between the anode layer and the solid electrolyte layer.

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a lithium solid battery in which the coulomb efficiency of the battery upon deposition and dissolution of a metal lithium is improved. The above object is achieved by providing a lithium solid battery comprising: an anode current collector, a solid electrolyte layer, a cathode active material layer, and a cathode current collector; wherein the lithium solid battery comprises a Li storing layer between the anode current collector and the solid electrolyte layer; an amount of Li storage of the Li storing layer to a cathode charging capacity is 0.13 or more; and a thickness of the Li storing layer is 83 &#x3bc;m or less.
