A light guide assembly for a backlight module is disclosed, comprising a metal element and a light guide element which are integrated together. At least a portion of at least a side surface of the light guide element is used to receive light emitted from a light source to generate backlight, and the metal element surrounds a side surface of the light guide element that is not used to receive light from the light source. In this way, the backlight module can omit the structures such as rubber frame, backplate, and the like, while the overall mechanical strength of the backlight module can be ensured, the thickness of the backlight module can be decreased to meet the requirement on thinning of the display device, and the production and maintenance costs can be reduced.

Light guide assembly, backlight module, display device

The embodiments of the present disclosure provide an assembly fixture and assembly method for a backlight module, so as to improve assembly efficiency and assembly yield of the backlight module. The assembly fixture includes: a vision alignment system for acquiring a first coordinate information of the set of optical elements and a second coordinate information of the back plate, calculating a fitting location coordinate information depending on the first coordinate information and the second coordinate information, and sending the fitting location coordinate information to a manipulator; and a manipulator for aligning the set of optical elements with the back plate depending on the fitting location coordinate information, and embedding a protrusion structure of the set of optical elements into a groove structure of the back plate by a preset tilt angle, and then laying the set of optical elements on the back plate.

Assembly fixture and assembly method for backlight module

A backlight module and a display device are provided. The backlight module comprises a light guide plate, a sealant frame enclosing edges of the light guide plate, and a light source disposed at an end of the light guide plate. The light guide plate has a near light end near the light source and a far light end further away from the light source. The light guide plate includes at least one first positioning structure at the far light end. The sealant frame includes at least a second positioning structure disposed at a position corresponding to the first positioning structure at the far light end. The first positioning structure and the second positioning structure are engaged with each other to position the light guide plate on a plane parallel to a light emitting surface of the light guide plate.

Backlight module and display device

The present invention discloses a backlight module and a display device, so as to improve the luminous effect of the backlight module. The backlight module includes: a backboard; a seal frame and a light guide plate arranged in the backboard; and a light source assembly located between the light guide plate and the seal frame. The light source assembly comprises a light source and a circuit board for controlling the light source. A bottom surface of the circuit board of the light source assembly abuts against an inner surface of the backboard. Since the bottom surface of the circuit board abuts against the inner surface of the backboard, the heat generated by the light source of the light source assembly may be transferred to the backboard through the circuit board and directly dissipated outside from the backboard. Thereby, it may prevent the temperature of the light source and the light guide plate from becoming over high, increasing the light emitting effect of the light source and light guide plate, and improving the luminous effect of the backlight module.
