In an exemplary method, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), an indication of a first set of resource blocks (RBs) to receive a first downlink (DL) transmission in a time interval, the UE receives, from the BS, an indication of a dynamically allocated second set of RBs to receive a second DL transmission from the BS in the time interval, and the UE alters one or more parameters of a receiver, based on the second set of RBs, when receiving the second DL transmission on the second set of RBs. Altering the one or more parameters may include switching a phase-locked loop (PLL) of the receiver to a center frequency determined based on the second set of RBs.

Interference management with adaptive resource block allocation

A user equipment (UE) is configured to perform a method for adjusting a reception beam. The UE performs receiving first communication signals from a base station using the reception beam having the first reception beam direction, wherein the first communication signals comprise beam direction change information; adjusting the reception beam from the first reception beam direction to a second reception beam direction in accordance with the beam direction change information; and receiving second communication signals from the base station based on the reception beam having the second reception beam direction. Through the method, the UE may actively adjust the reception beam direction based on relative movement between base station beam and itself.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for interference management with adaptive resource block (RB) allocation. In an exemplary method, a base station (BS) obtains an indication that downlink transmissions to a first user equipment (UE) potentially interfere with uplink transmissions by a second UE, the BS dynamically allocates, based on the indication, a first set of one or more resource blocks (RBs) for the downlink transmissions to the first UE, and the BS then transmits an indication of the first set of RBs to the first UE. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

The disclosure relates to technology beam steering in which one or more antennas are configured to form a beam directed to a first beam direction based on a configuration corresponding to an environment. A change in direction of the beam is identified in response to a change in orientation of user equipment, the change in orientation determined via one or more sensors in the user equipment, and a second beam direction is calculated based on a the first beam direction and the change in orientation of the user equipment. The one or more antennas are then configured by steering the beam to the second beam direction to compensate for the change in orientation of the user equipment.

A device may include two transceiver chip modules configured to communicate in different frequency ranges. The first transceiver chip module may include a baseband sub-module, a first radio frequency front end (RFFE) component and associated antenna array. The second transceiver chip module may include a second RFFE component and associated antenna array. The second transceiver chip module may be separate from the first transceiver chip module. The system is configured in a first mode when a transmission interference in a receiver of a wireless device is below a first threshold. The system is configured in one or more intermediate modes when the transmission interference is above the first threshold and below a second threshold. The system is configured in a second mode when the transmission interference is above the second threshold. The one or more intermediate modes activate interference management processes and the wireless device transmits data and receives data simultaneously. In some embodiments, transmission interference may be based on an SINR measurement.
