The present application relates to a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode plate comprises a current collector, a positive active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the positive active material layer, the safety coating comprising a polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler, wherein the polymer matrix is fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin and the weight ratio of the polymer matrix to the conductive material is 2 or more. The positive electrode plate may improve the safety performance during nail penetration of the electrochemical device such as a capacitor, a primary battery or a secondary battery.

The present disclosure relates to a battery unit and a battery module, the battery unit includes an electrode assembly, including a main body portion and a tab; two electrode terminals; and two current collecting members respectively connecting the tabs on both sides of the main body portion with the respective electrode terminals; the current collecting member includes a guiding plate and a supporting plate, the guiding plate is located on one side of the main body portion along the length direction, a reinforcement portion is arranged on the guiding plate and is configured to reduce the deformation of the guiding plate towards the main body portion; and the supporting plate is connected to an end of the guiding plate along the width direction, the tab is bent relative to the length direction and connected to the supporting plate. The battery unit can reduce the bending deformation of the guiding plate.

The positive electrode plate can quickly disconnect circuit when the electrochemical device (such as a capacitor, primary battery, or secondary battery, and the like) is in a high temperature condition or an internal short circuit occurs, thereby improving high temperature safety performance of the electrochemical device.

This application relates to an electrochemical device. The electrochemical device comprises a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate and an electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode plate comprises a current collector, a positive electrode active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the positive electrode active material layer; the safety coating comprises a polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler; wherein based on the total weight of the polymer matrix, the conductive material and the inorganic filler, the polymer matrix is present in a content of from 35 wt % to 75 wt %, the conductive material is present in a content of from 5 wt % to 25 wt %, and the inorganic filler is present in a content of from 10 wt % to 60 wt %; and the electrolyte has a viscosity at normal temperature of &#x2264;4 cp.

Electrochemical device

The present invention relates to an electrode plate, an electrochemical device and a safety coating. The electrode plate comprises a current collector, an electrode active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the electrode active material layer, the safety coating layer comprising a fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler. The electrode plate can quickly open the circuit when the electrochemical device (for example, a capacitor, a primary battery, or a secondary battery) is in a high temperature condition or an internal short circuit occurs, and thus it may improve the high temperature safety performance of the electrochemical device.

A connection member and a rechargeable battery are provided. The connection member includes a guide plate, two first connection plates and a second connection plate; the two first connection plates are respectively connected to two sides of the guide plate in a width direction and are arranged bendably with respect to the guide plate; the second connection plate is connected to an upper end of the guide plate in a height direction Z, and the top ends of the two first connection plates are at different heights. In some examples, overcurrent capability of the connection member and rapid charging capability and safety performance of the rechargeable battery can be improved.

The present disclosure provides a separator and an electrochemical device, the separator is provided with a folded structure unit across a widthwise direction of the separator, and an overlapping part of the folded structure unit is filled with an adhesive. When the separator is applied into a production of the electrochemical device, a winding process can be performed as usual. After an electrolyte injection or high temperature aging of the electrochemical device, the adhesive filled in the folded structure unit of the separator may be dissolved into the electrolyte, the folded structure unit can be unfolded to a flat position again, so as to effectively eliminate deformation of the electrochemical device, which may be caused by thermal contraction of the separator, over stress in the separator wound in a cell, or the separator's binding on expansion of negative and positive electrodes, during operation and production of the electrochemical device.
