A multilayer film and a preparation method thereof is provided, and belongs to the technical field of optical films. The provided multilayer film comprises an ultraviolet blocking material and a cholesteric liquid crystal layer. The cholesteric liquid crystal layer comprises a polymerizable liquid crystal monomer, a polymerizable chiral dopant and a photoinitiator. The multilayer film can filter ultraviolet rays and near infrared rays in natural light, thereby reducing the heat effect of the natural light and harms of the ultraviolet rays to people and objects. In addition, the multilayer film has a high visible light transmission rate, which does not distort the color of the natural light passing through.

An infrared reflection device includes a power supply assembly, a plurality of switches, and two relatively disposed light-transmitting conductive substrates packaging a regulating area. Each of the light-transmitting conductive substrates comprise a light-transmitting substrate and an electrode layer. In the above way, the laser protective film of the present disclosure has a large angle of protection, high flexibility. In addition, it is easy to find any damage to the laser protective film of the present disclosure. Moreover, it can make modification to existing equipment. Thus, the present disclosure has a good application prospect in many fields such as laser goggles, window glass and the like.

A multi-stable electroresponsive smart window and preparation method thereof are disclosed. The multi-stable electroresponsive smart window comprises a first light transmitting conductive substrate, a parallel orientation layer, a positive polymer stabilized cholesteric texture layer, a positive cholesteric texture layer and a second light transmitting conductive substrate disposed in stack successively. The multi-stable electroresponsive smart window of the present disclosure can realize a diversified light transmission state such as colored and transparent state, colored and blur state, colorless and blur state, and colorless and transparent state by changing the magnitude of the access voltage, thereby satisfying the various demands in people's work and life. In addition, the multi-stable electroresponsive smart window of the present disclosure has the characteristics of simple production, rich patterns, energy saving and environmental protection, which has good application prospects in the fields of window glass, home glass window and glass curtain wall, and the like.

Method for preparing multi-stable electroresponsive smart window

A dye-doped laser protective film is disclosed, comprising a polymer layer A and a polymer layer B. The polymer molecules in the polymer layer A are arranged in a left-handed helical structure which can reflect a left-handed polarized laser. The polymer molecules in the polymer layer B are arranged in a right-handed helical structure which can reflect a right-handed polarized laser. The combination of the polymer layer having the left-handed helical structure and the polymer layer having the right-handed helical structure can completely reflect circularly polarized light. In addition, the dye can absorb incident laser, so as to expand the protection angle of the laser protective film. The dye-doped laser protective film of the present disclosure has a simple manufacturing process, large protection angle and good flexibility, and can refit existing devices. A liquid crystal mixture and a temperature-responsive infrared reflection device made by using the liquid crystal mixture containing potassium laurate. Infrared light can pass through the device within a non-working temperature range, and a chiral dopant enables potassium laurate to form a cholesteric phase within a working temperature range. The birefringence value of the potassium laurate gradually increases with the increase of temperature between 12.5&#xb0; C. and 26&#xb0; C., so that the infrared reflection bandwidth of the device constantly increases. The birefringence value of the potassium laurate gradually decreases with the increase of temperature between 26&#xb0; C. and 54.5&#xb0; C., so that the infrared reflection bandwidth of the device constantly decreases. The infrared reflection bandwidth of the infrared reflection device can vary with temperature by adjusting the proportions of the ingredients of the liquid crystal mixture containing potassium laurate.

An electric response infrared reflection device and a preparation method thereof. The device comprises three light-transmitting conductive substrates which are oppositely arranged. Two adjacent light-transmitting conductive substrates of the three light-transmitting conductive substrates are respectively packaged to form a first adjusting area and a second adjusting area. Both the first adjusting area and the second adjusting area are filled with liquid crystal layers. Each of the liquid crystal layers comprises a mixed liquid crystal material. The mixed liquid crystal material comprises a chiral nematic phase liquid crystal, a monomer, a photoinitiator, and a chiral dopant. The spiral direction of the chiral nematic phase liquid crystal in the first adjusting area is opposite to the spiral direction of the chiral nematic phase liquid crystal in the second adjusting area, so that the total reflection of an infrared band can be implemented.

Electric response infrared reflection device and preparation method thereof

The present disclosure discloses an electroresponsive liquid crystal dimming device comprising a first light transmitting conductive substrate, a first polymer network stabilized liquid crystal layer, a positive liquid crystal layer, a second polymer network stabilized liquid crystal layer and a second light transmitting conductive substrate which are arranged in sequence; and the first polymer network stabilized liquid crystal layer and the second polymer network stabilized liquid crystal layer reflect the circularly polarized light having the same polarization direction. The conversion of the positive liquid crystals in each layer between different states is driven by changing the magnitude of the access voltage of the liquid crystal dimming device according to the present disclosure, thereby realizing the adjustment of blurring to transparent states and color to colorless states of the liquid crystal dimming device, having a good application prospect in the window glass, and home glass window, and the like.
