A backplane connector includes a housing and a number of mounting modules. The housing includes a base defining a number of receiving grooves. The mounting modules are assembled to the receiving grooves. Each mounting module includes an insulating body, a terminal module installed in the insulating body, and a metal shield surrounding member sleeved on the insulating body. The metal shield surrounding member includes a surrounding portion and a mounting portion extending downwardly from the surrounding portion. The surrounding portion is formed by four side walls so as to form a fully-enclosed shielding cavity. As a result, the shielding effect and the grounding return effect of the backplane connector are improved.

An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a terminal module and a shielding piece. The terminal module includes an insulating block and a number of conductive terminals. Each conductive terminal includes a mating elastic arm. The number of conductive terminals include a first signal terminal, a second signal terminal, a first ground terminal, and a second ground terminal. The shielding piece includes a base portion, an elastic arm portion and an abutting portion. The base portion includes a first fixing portion fixed to the first ground terminal, and a second fixing portion fixed to the second ground terminal. The abutting portion includes a first abutting portion floating in abutment against the mating elastic arm of the first ground terminal, and a second abutting portion floating in abutment against the mating elastic arm of the second ground terminal.

Electrical connector and assembly thereof with improved shielding effect

An electrical connector includes an insulating body and a number of conductive terminals. The insulating body includes a mating slot. Each conductive terminal includes an elastic mating portion protruding into the mating slot and an end portion extending from the elastic mating portion. The insulating body is provided with a number of limiting blocks for limiting the conductive terminals and a terminal limiting slot located between two adjacent limiting blocks. At least one limiting block includes a limiting protrusion protruding into the terminal limiting slot for limiting a side surface of the end portion of the conductive terminal. The insulating body also includes a relief slot in communication with the terminal limiting slot. When the conductive terminal needs to be deformed, the end portion of the conductive terminal can move unimpeded in the relief slot.

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a number of terminals and a lossy member. The terminals include a number of ground terminals and a number of signal terminals. The ground terminals and the signal terminals are set adjacently to each other but do not contact each other. The ground terminals do not directly contact the lossy member. As a result, installation consistency of the ground terminals can be achieved, thereby improving the electrical performance of the electrical connector.

A connector terminal includes a terminal body. An elastic arm structure is arranged on one end of the terminal body, and includes a support part and a contact part. The support part is a bending structure formed by sequentially connecting multiple extension sections, a first end of the support part is an operation end and a second end of the support part is a connection end, from the connection end to the operation end, an included angle between a first direction and each of extension directions of the multiple extension sections is gradually reduced, and the first direction is parallel to a length direction of the terminal body. The contact part is arranged at the operation end and is bent towards an inner side of the bending structure.

The present disclosure discloses an anti-cross-lighting structure. The anti-cross-lighting structure includes a support frame, a plurality of light-guiding elements located beside the support frame, and a shielding piece mounted on the support frame. The light-guiding elements are arranged on a same side of the support frame and forms at least one group. The shielding piece wraps over the light-guiding elements. The shielding piece includes a number of middle blocking portions. Each middle blocking portion isolates the light-guiding elements which are adjacent to each other. The anti-cross-lighting structure of the present disclosure effectively avoids the cross-lighting phenomenon and also has a stable structure.
