A first device generates a first capability model instance based on a capability model template, and sends the first capability model instance to a network management device. The capability model template includes one or more metric names. The first capability model instance includes one or more performance parameters that can be subscribed to by the first device, and the one or more performance parameters are parameters corresponding to one or more metric names. The first capability model instance is used by the network management device to select and subscribe to one or more performance parameters from the one or more performance parameters that can be subscribed to by the first device.

Embodiments of this application provide a method for subscribing to event streams. The method includes: A first device generates a first message used to subscribe to event streams, where the first message includes a group identifier, and the group identifier corresponds to a plurality of event streams; and the first device sends the first message to a second device, to obtain data of the plurality of event streams corresponding to the group identifier.

Method and apparatus for subscribing to event streams

A first server device obtains first device information of the first server device. The first device information may include an event or a device identifier. The first server device determines a first condition corresponding to the first device information of the first server device, and performs a first processing action corresponding to the first device information when determining that the first device information meets the first condition.
