The present disclosure is directed to Low Temperature NOx-Absorber (LT-NA) catalyst compositions, catalyst articles, and an emission treatment system for treating an exhaust gas, each including the LT-NA catalyst compositions. Further provided are methods for reducing a NOlevel in an exhaust gas stream using the catalyst article. In particular, the LT-NA compositions include a zeolite containing a first metal component including palladium and a second metal component which is an alkaline earth metal component, an oxide of an alkaline earth metal component, a rare earth metal component, an oxide of a rare earth metal component, or a combination thereof. The LT-NA compositions exhibit increased low temperature NOadsorption capacity and enhanced hydrothermal stability.

Low temperature NOx adsorber with enhanced hydrothermal stability

The present disclosure provides Low Temperature NO-Absorber (LT-NA) catalyst compositions, catalyst articles, and an emission treatment system for treating an exhaust gas, each including the LT-NA catalyst compositions. Further provided are methods for reducing a NOlevel in an exhaust gas stream using the LT-NA catalyst articles. In particular, the LT-NA catalyst compositions include a first zeolite, a first palladium component, and a plurality of platinum nanoparticles. The LT-NA catalyst compositions exhibit enhanced regeneration efficiency with respect to NOadsorption capacity, even after hydrothermal aging.

Low temperature NOadsorber with enhanced regeneration efficiency

The present disclosure is directed to a Low Temperature NOx-Absorber (LT-NA) catalyst composition which exhibits NOx adsorption in a broad temperature and space velocity range, and shifts NOx desorption to a desired temperature range. In particular, the LT-NA composition includes a large pore zeolite containing a palladium component and a small or medium pore zeolite containing a palladium component. Further provided is a catalyst article including the LT-NA catalyst composition, an emission treatment system for treating an exhaust gas including the catalyst article, and methods for reducing a NOx level in an exhaust gas stream using the catalyst article.

Diesel oxidation catalysts for ultralow NOcontrol

The present invention relates to diesel oxidation catalyst compositions and catalyst articles, wherein the compositions and articles include a plurality of platinum group nanoparticles substantially in fully reduced form, wherein the nanoparticles have an average particle size of about 1 to about 10 nm and at least about 90% of the nanoparticles have a particle size of +/&#x2212; about 2 nm of the average particle size. Such compositions can further include a refractory metal oxide material, wherein the nanoparticles and refractory metal oxide material can be combined within the same coating on a substrate or can be applied sequentially on a substrate. The nanoparticles can advantageously be substantially free of halides, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, sulfur compounds, and boron compounds. Methods of preparing and using such compositions and catalyst articles (e.g., for the treatment of diesel exhaust gas streams) are also provided herein.

Diesel oxidation catalyst comprising platinum group metal nanoparticles

The present invention relates to colloidal dispersions comprising a plurality of precious group nanoparticles, wherein about 90% or more of the precious group metal is in fully reduced form; a dispersion medium comprising a polar solvent; a water-soluble polymer suspension stabilizing agent; and a reducing agent, wherein the nanoparticle concentration is at least about 2 wt. % of the colloidal dispersion, wherein the nanoparticles have an average particle size of about 1 to about 6 nm and at least 95% of the nanoparticles have a particle size within this range; and further wherein the colloidal dispersion is substantially free of halides, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and sulfur compounds. Methods of preparing, further processing, and using such colloidal dispersions are also provided herein.
