The present disclosure provides a low temperature resistant oil casing having high strength and high toughness, and the manufacturing method thereof, the chemical composition of the oil casing by mass of: C: 0.08-0.14%, Si: 0.1-0.4%, Mn: 0.6-1.3%, Cr: 0.5-1.5%, Mo: 0.2-0.5%, Ni: 0.2-0.5%, Nb: 0.02-0.05%, V: 0-0.1%, Al: 0.01-0.05%, Ca: 0.0005-0.005%, and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. The method of manufacturing the oil casing includes: (1) smelting and continuous casting; (2) perforating and continuous rolling; (3) heat treatment, wherein an austenitizing temperature is controlled in the range of 900-930&#xb0; C., and held for 30-60 min, followed by quenching, subsequently, tempering at temperature of 480-600&#xb0; C., holding the temperature for 50-80 min; (4) hot sizing.

A high-strength and high-toughness tube for perforating gun, having a formulation of chemical elements in percentage by mass as follows: C: 0.15%-0.22%, Si: 0.1%-0.4%, Mn: 0.5%-1%, Cr: 0.3%-0.7%, Mo: 0.3%-0.7%, Nb: 0.01%-0.04%, V: 0.1%-0.2%, Ti: 0.02%-0.05%, B: 0.0015%-0.005%, Al: 0.01%-0.05%, Ca: 0.001%-0.004%, N&#x2264;0.008%, and the balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities. Accordingly, further disclosed is a method for manufacturing a high-strength and high-toughness tube for perforating gun. The high-strength and high-toughness tube for perforating gun of the present invention has high strength, good toughness and uniform circumferential strength, and is suitable for application in the field of petroleum exploration and exploitation.

High-strength and high-toughness perforating gun tube and manufacturing method therefor

The present invention discloses an ultra-high strength and ultra-high toughness casing steel, having a microstructure of tempered sorbite, and the content of chemical elements by mass percent thereof being as follows: C: 0.1-0.22%, Si: 0.1-0.4%, Mn: 0.5-1.5%, Cr: 1-1.5%, Mo: 1-1.5%, Nb: 0.01-0.04%, V: 0.2-0.3%, Al: 0.01-0.05%, Ca: 0.0005-0.005%, the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. Correspondingly, the invention also discloses a casing obtained by processing the ultra-high strength and ultra-high toughness casing steel and a manufacturing method thereof. The ultra-high strength and ultra-toughness casing steel and the casing of the present invention have a strength of 155 ksi or more and an impact toughness greater than 10% of its yield strength value, thereby realizing a combination of ultra-high strength and ultra-high toughness.
