A printing ink formulation includes a functional material and a solvent being evaporable from the printing ink formulation to form a functional material thin film. The solvent is formed by mixing at least two organic solvents including a first solvent and a second solvent. The solvent system containing at least two solvents can effectively dissolve the functional material without the need of adding an additive, and can also effectively prevent the occurrence of a 'coffee-ring effect', and accordingly, the thin film containing a uniform thickness and a strong electron transmission capability can be obtained.

The present disclosure discloses a deuterated organic compound and a formulation and an organic electronic device containing the same, wherein the deuterated organic compound has the following structural formula: wherein Ar is an aromatic or heteroaromatic structural unit, D is an electron donor group, A is an electron acceptor group, n and m are an integer between 1 and 6; and wherein for the organic compound, (S1&#x2212;T1)&#x2264;0.25 eV, and at least one H atom of the organic compound is substituted by deuterium. The present disclosure achieves the improvement of the electroluminescence quantum efficiency and the lifetime of the organic compound by replacing the H atom in the organic compound with deuterium and having (S1&#x2212;T1)&#x2264;0.35 eV, and the material of the present disclosure has a great application potential and application range due to its low cost and relatively simple synthesis process.

A display panel is provided by the present disclosure. The display panel includes a plurality of repeatedly arranged display units each having an array of sub-pixels displaying a plurality of colors. In the display panel, a plurality of sub-pixels b displaying a first color are arranged in a first spatial isotropic configuration in the display panel, and a plurality of sub-pixels d displaying a second color are arranged in a second spatial isotropic configuration in the display panel. At least one of the first color and the second color contributes most to display resolution among the plurality of colors.

An optical component capable of changing polarization light state and a liquid crystal display (LCD) device using the same are provided. The optical component including a transparent substrate and a wavelength compensator is disposed at any position from the outer side of the LCD device to the outside in an output direction of an output light. The wavelength compensator is directly attached to the surface of the substrate to convert an output light of the LCD device from a linearly polarized light into a circularly polarized light or an elliptically polarized light, thereby effectively reducing eye fatigue. The LCD device is provided with such an optical component such that a linearly polarized light emerging from the LCD device is converted into a circularly polarized light or an elliptically polarized light to lessen the eye fatigue.
