A method of designing a particle size distribution of particulate bridging lost circulation material for a fractured leakage includes the following steps: classifying the lost circulation materials according to a particle size; calculating an expected range of a characteristic particle size of the lost circulation materials according to a fracture width and particle size selection criteria; setting a relative percentage content of the each level of the lost circulation materials; using a particle size distribution function to fit a particle size distribution curve; calculating the characteristic particle size of the lost circulation materials according to the particle size distribution curve; determining whether the calculated characteristic particle size conforms to the expected range of the characteristic particle size; and generating the particle size distribution of the lost circulation materials conforming to the particle size selection criteria.

The present invention relates to the well drilling field in petrochemical industry, in particular to use of dual-cation fluorocarbon surfactant as amphiphobic wettability reversal agent in drilling fluid. The dual-cation fluorocarbon surfactant is a dual-cation fluorocarbon surfactant of which the cation part is represented by the following formula (1). The dual-cation fluorocarbon surfactant of the present invention can serve as wettability reversal agent when it is used for oil-gas drilling to enable rock amphiphobic, and is an amphiphobic wettability reversal agent which can cause rock surface to be non-hydrophilic and non-lipophilic. Using of dual-cation fluorocarbon surfactant, especially when drilling highly hydrous mud shale, can avoid permeation of water and oil into the rock effectively and thereby a capillary phenomenon can be prevented, and an effect of stabilizing the well wall and protecting the reservoir is attained. 

Use of dual-cation fluorocarbon surfactant as amphiphobic wettability reversal agent in drilling fluid

A super-amphiphobic composite material and use of the same as an inhibitor, lubricant, reservoir protectant, and accelerator in water-based drilling fluids. A method for preparing the amphiphobic composite material includes: performing a first mixing of nano-titanium dioxide and nano-silicon dioxide in an alcohol-water mixed solvent under an alkaline condition, to obtain a dispersion of nano-titanium dioxide and nano-silicon dioxide; then introducing a fluorosilicone-containing coupler into the dispersion of nano-titanium dioxide and nano-silicon dioxide and performing a second mixing. The amphiphobic composite material may be applied in water-based drilling fluids. It has an effect of strongly inhibiting hydrated swelling and disintegration, low toxicity and high compatibility; can solve problems such as well wall instability, blockage of drilling tools, and reservoir damage, etc.; and has long-term practical value in complicated wells such as extra-deep wells, horizontal wells and extended reach wells, and in mud-bearing shale formations.

The present invention relates to the field of shale inhibitors for drilling fluids, and discloses a shale inhibitor, a method for producing the shale inhibitor, a water-based drilling fluid, and a shale gas drilling and extraction method, wherein, the shale inhibitor contains structural units A represented by formula (I), optional structural units B represented by formula (II) and structural units C represented by formula (VIII), where, n is an integer within a range of 0-3; the shale inhibitor is an amino-terminated hyperbranched polymer; the quantity ratio of the structural units A to the structural units B to the structural units C is m:(m&#x2212;1):(2m+2), wherein m is an integer within a range of 1-10. With the amino-terminated hyperbranched polymer inhibitor, the shale hydration inhibiting capability can be improved, and thereby the overall inhibition performance of a drilling fluid can be improved;
