Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may transmit one or more control messages including scheduling information for a sidelink transmission and active interference cancellation (AIC) parameters to a transmitting user equipment (UE), a receiving UE, or both. The transmitting UE may relay the AIC parameters to the receiving UE. The transmitting UE may perform the sidelink transmission to a receiving UE. The transmitting UE may perform sidelink AIC on the sidelink transmission according to the AIC parameters. The receiving UE may decode the sidelink transmission by modifying interference at a receiver of the UE.

The method of wireless communication also includes receiving a configuration from a network for uplink transmission using a first plurality of subcarriers; receiving an instruction from the network for interference cancellation with respect to the first plurality of subcarriers; calculating a plurality of symbols and modulating the plurality of symbols on a second plurality of subcarriers in accordance with the instruction from the network for interference cancellation; and transmitting a waveform to the network, the waveform including the first plurality of subcarriers and the second plurality of subcarriers.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, an indication of a first sidelink grant associated with a first set of resources. The apparatus may include any wireless communication device configured for radio frequency identification (RFID) communications. In some examples, the apparatus includes a memory comprising instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions. In some examples, the one or more processors are configured to cause the apparatus to obtain a first signal from a radio frequency identifier (RFID) device. Positioning of one or more user equipments (UEs) is performed using broadcast common sounding reference signals (SRS) resources for positioning. The common SRS that is broadcast by a UE is received and measured by one or more base stations and one or more other UEs. The other UEs may have known positions and may server as anchor nodes for positioning. The other UEs may have known positions and may serve as a positioning (anchor) node or may have unknown positions and may be jointly positioned with the target UE. During joint positioning, each of the other UEs may similarly broadcast a common set of SRS that is received and measured by the base stations and other UEs for positioning. An angular measurement of the SRS broadcast by one or more UEs may be measured and used to resolve minor symmetry in positioning solutions.

Methods and apparatus for combined signaling for sidelink assisted positioning

For instance, a wireless device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), a base station) may transmit a set of data messages to a set of UEs, the set of data messages including one or more data messages for each UE of the set of UEs. Each UE may select a respective sequence representing feedback associated with the one or more data messages, the sequence being selected from a sequence pool that includes a first plurality of sequences representing acknowledgement feedback and a second plurality of sequences representing negative acknowledgement feedback, individual sequences of at least the second set of sequences being non-orthogonal to each other. Each UE may transmit the respective selected sequence to the wireless device via a shared set of time and frequency resources that are shared for feedback messages from the set of UEs.
