Provided are a method and device for estimating the utility of replacement of a battery pack for an electric vehicle, and a charging management method and system based on the method and device. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring state data associated with a first battery pack and a second battery pack, the state data comprising usage history of the first battery pack and performance parameters of the first battery pack and the second battery pack; and determining a utility value according to the state data, wherein the utility value is used to characterize a degree of impact of an operation of replacing the first battery pack with the second battery pack on the service efficiency and service life of a battery pack set to which the first battery pack and the second battery pack belong. The method facilitates improving the service efficiency of a managed battery in a battery swap mode and extending the overall service life thereof.

Method and device for determining utility of replacement of battery pack for electric vehicle

Disclosed is a cloud storage-based battery swap system for an electric vehicle, which is intended to solve the problems of the existing electric vehicles, such as inconvenient use of an energy supply system, and excessive individual difference and excessive cost of a battery pack. The system comprises: a battery pack information storage apparatus for storing battery pack information of an electric vehicle; a battery pack allocation station for storing battery packs and charging the battery packs; and a battery swap station for replacing a battery pack for the electric vehicle, and communicating with the battery pack information storage apparatus to transmit the battery pack information to the battery pack information storage apparatus. In addition, a battery management system for the battery pack is disposed on the electric vehicle outside the battery pack. Also disclosed is a method for the system. The present application relates to a battery charging method. The method comprises the steps of: in accordance to the current's adverse effect on battery lifespan, classifying the charging current of a battery into a first type of charging current and a second type of charging current; setting a proportion limit on the first type of charging current and a proportion limit on the second type of charging current; obtaining the historical charging current information of the battery; determining the historical accumulative proportion of the second type of charging current in accordance to the historical charging current information; in accordance to the proportion limits and the historical accumulative proportion, determining the type of battery charging current which is present available. By taking into account different charging currents' adverse effect on battery lifespan, the charging method solves the problem of excessive charging current's adverse effect on battery lifespan.
