Described is a processor comprising: a plurality of radiation detectors; a first logic unit to receive outputs from the plurality of radiation detectors, the logic unit to generate an output according to the received outputs, the output of the first logic unit indicating whether the processor was exposed to incoming radiations; and a second logic unit to receive the output from the first logic unit, and to cause the processor to perform an action according to the output from the first logic unit.

This disclosure relates to misalignment-tolerant processes for fabricating multiplexing/demultiplexing architectures. One process enables fabricating a multiplexing/demultiplexing architecture at a tolerance greater than a pitch of conductive structures with which the architecture is capable of communicating. Another process can enable creation of address elements and conductive structures having substantially identical widths.

Misalignment-tolerant methods for fabricating multiplexing/demultiplexing architectures

This disclosure relates to misalignment-tolerant multiplexing/demultiplexing architectures. One architecture enables communication with a conductive-structure array having a narrow spacing and pitch. Another architecture can comprise address elements having a width substantially identical to that of conductive-structures with which each of these address elements is capable of communicating. Another architecture can comprise rows of co-parallel address elements oriented obliquely relative to address lines and/or conductive structures.

Misalignment-tolerant multiplexing/demultiplexing architectures

This disclosure relates to field-effect-transistor (FET) multiplexing/demultiplexing architectures and methods for fabricating them. One of these FET multiplexing/demultiplexing architectures enables decoding of an array of tightly pitched conductive structures. Another enables efficient decoding of various types of conductive-structure arrays, tightly pitched or otherwise. Also, processes for forming FET multiplexing/demultiplexing architectures are disclosed that use alignment-independent processing steps. One of these processes uses one, low-accuracy imprinting step and further alignment-independent processing steps.

Field-effect-transistor multiplexing/demultiplexing architectures

A silicon die having an orifice layer with plural openings formed therein defines a drop ejection device for use in a handheld inhaler. An underlying control layer defines fluid chambers, each carrying a heat transducer. A control system energizes selected heat transducers to heat fluid in the chambers, vaporizing the fluid, which is ejected through the orifices in small droplets.

A Wheatstone bridge circuit for a sensor has: first and second sensor elements which respond to a stimulus generated when the sensor is exposed to a sample to be measured, the first and second sensor elements comprising first and second elongated n type nano width regions formed in a suitable substrate; third and fourth sensor elements which respond to the stimulus generated when the sensor is exposed to the sample to be measured, comprising third and fourth elongated p type nano width regions formed in the substrate; and interconnections which interconnect the first and second sensor elements with the third and fourth sensor elements so that the first and second sensor elements are separated from and connected to the third and fourth sensor elements in a manner to form a Wheatstone bridge configuration.
