An array substrate, a method for manufacturing an array substrate, and a display device are provided. The array substrate includes a first substrate, a first common electrode layer, a second common electrode layer, a frame sealing adhesive and a conductive adhesive. The first common electrode layer is disposed at an edge of the first substrate and is in a grid shape; the second common electrode layer is disposed at an inner side the first common electrode layer, and includes a light-transmitting portion provided in a grid shape, and a gate insulating layer is provided on the light-transmitting portion. The frame sealing adhesive is disposed on the first common electrode layer. The conductive adhesive is disposed in the frame sealing adhesive and partially extends onto the gate insulating layer corresponding to the light-transmitting portion. Authentication systems and methods for generating flight regulations

Techniques are described for implementing reduced-noise pixel ramp voltage generators for image sensors. The described pixel ramp voltage generators include circuit blocks to address various conventional causes of ramp generator noise. For example, a reference current is generated. Current steering can be used to toggle between a ramp-run mode for generation of a ramp voltage, and a ramp-stop mode for stopping the generation, thereby mitigating changes in low-frequency noise components between pixel conversion cycles, or phases or such cycles. Buffer multiplier techniques can be used to isolate kickback noise of the pixel conversion comparators from components generating the ramp voltage, such as to mitigate image smearing. Some implementations include additional features, such as sample-and-hold techniques used to isolate ramp generation components from current generation component noise, slope calibration techniques to dynamically tune voltage ramp slope, reset techniques, etc.

Pixel ramp generator for image sensor

Techniques are described for error-modulated pixel readout by column-parallel programmable gain amplifiers (PGAs) in a digital image sensor. Each PGA has an amplifier with gain set by a ratio of input and feedback capacitors. Mismatch between these capacitors can manifest as vertical fixed pattern noise (FPN) in the image output. Embodiments use a swap control signal to pseudo-randomly toggle between two or more swap states for each of a sequence of row scan times. Each swap state at least directs coupling of a particular capacitor network in either the input or the feedback path of the amplifier. Pseudo-randomly swapping those couplings of the capacitive networks also pseudo-randomly modulates gain error from capacitive mismatch between the capacitor networks. The FPN effectively becomes spatially modulated noise at a level far below what would be considered as a visible artifact in the image output.

Reduction of fixed-pattern noise in digital image sensors by mitigating gain mismatch error

An image sensor includes a controller and a plurality of pixel clusters. Each of the pixel clusters includes a plurality of pixels coupled to a reset transistor, a floating diffusion node, a source follower, and a select transistor. Each pixel of a pixel cluster includes a photodiode, and a transfer transistor having a first terminal coupled to the photodiode, a second terminal coupled to the floating diffusion node, and a gate. The controller is configured to apply a transfer control signal to the gate of the transfer transistor in response to a pixel operation, the transfer control signal being one of a positive voltage level, a negative voltage level, and a ground voltage level.

Techniques are described for digital conversion of pixel signals in a CMOS image sensor (CIS). The CIS includes column-parallel analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), each having a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) supporting N gain settings. Each ADC can execute, for each gain setting (Gn) of the N gain settings, a respective reset phase conversion to obtain a respective baseline offset (BOn) associated with the Gn. A pre-decision value can be determined as a function of a pixel signal, the pre-decision value corresponding to a selected one of the gain settings (Gs). The pixel signal can be converted by using the pre-decision value to set a gain of the PGA to the Gs and obtaining a signal offset (SO). A digital pixel output can be computed for the pixel signal as a function of the SO and the BOs, wherein the BOs is the BOn corresponding to the Gs.

The GPU refresh request message may include information requesting the data sufficient to reset the GPU at an upcoming RAP in the trace of the GPU commands.
