A pixel arrangement structure, including a plurality of repeating units, wherein each of the plurality of repeating units includes one first sub-pixel, one second sub-pixel, and two third sub-pixels; in each of the plurality of repeating units, the two third sub-pixels are arranged in one of a first direction and a second direction, and the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel are arranged in the other one of the first direction and the second direction; the plurality of repeating units are arranged in the first direction to form a plurality of repeating unit groups, the plurality of repeating unit groups are arranged in the second direction; and the first direction and the second direction are different directions.

A display panel includes pixels arranged in an array in a first direction and a second direction. Each pixel includes a first sub-pixel having a first light-emitting zone to emit light of a first color, a second sub-pixel having a second light-emitting zone to emit light of a second color, and a third sub-pixel having a third light-emitting zone to emit light of a third color. The first, second, and third light-emitting zones are arranged in a triangle such that the first, second, and third light-emitting zones cover respective vertices of the triangle, with one side of the triangle being substantially parallel to the first direction. Embodiments of the invention disclose a method for displaying image and a display device. In the display panel, 2*2 pixels constitute one repeating group, each repeating group contains two pixels composed of a B sub-pixel and a Y sub-pixel and two pixels composed of a R sub-pixel and a G sub-pixel, and sub-pixels included in neighboring pixels in the horizontal or vertical direction within the repeating group are different, thus compared to the existing arrangement in which three or more sub-pixels constitute one pixel, the number of sub-pixels in each pixel is reduced, enabling the resolution of image displayed to be enhanced under the same fabrication precision. And after converting the received RGB image signal of each pixel of the frame to be displayed into corresponding RG/BY image signal respectively, depending on arrangement of sub-pixels in each pixel of the display panel, image signal corresponding to sub-pixels of each pixel in the display panel is determined based on the RG/BY image signal corresponding to each pixel of the frame to be displayed, then the image is displayed, therefore, normal display can be ensured, image of the frame to be displayed can be rendered better.

A pixel arrangement structure, a display panel and a display device are provided. The pixel arrangement structure includes a plurality of repeating units, each repeating unit includes one first sub-pixel, one second sub pixel and two third sub-pixels; the four sub-pixels of each repeating unit constitute two pixels, with the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel being shared by the two pixels; in a first direction of the pixel array, the sub-pixel density is equal to 1.5 times of the pixel density, in a second direction of the pixel array, the sub-pixel density is equal to 1.5 times of the pixel density; wherein, the first direction and the second direction are different directions.

The present invention discloses a structure of pixel arrangement and a display device. The structure of pixel arrangement includes a first sub-pixel, and second sub-pixels and third sub-pixels that are provided surrounding the first sub-pixel, the first sub-pixel, portions of the second sub-pixels and portions of the third sub-pixels constituting a virtual rhombus, wherein a center of the first sub-pixel coincides with a center of the virtual rhombus; a center of the second sub-pixel coincides with a first vertex of the virtual rhombus; and a center of the third sub-pixel coincides with a second vertex of the virtual rhombus. Compared with the prior art, the number of sub-pixels required to achieve high resolution display in the present invention is smaller, so that the number of the sub-pixels is decreased.

A display substrate and a driving method thereof as well as a display apparatus. The display substrate comprises pixel groups which are arranged repeatedly, each pixel group comprising a first sub-pixel group and a second sub-pixel group, each comprising four pixel columns. The present invention reduces the number of sub-pixels in the whole display apparatus. Therefore, on a premise of ensuring that the display apparatus achieves a relatively high resolution, the fabrication difficulty of the display apparatus is reduced, and the cost is lowered.
