A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) supporting multiple subscriptions, includes camping on a first cell of a first radio access technology (RAT) with a first data subscription, and camping on a second cell of a second RAT with a second data subscription. The method also includes triggering a transition to the first cell of the first RAT for the second data subscription. The method further includes performing, with the first data subscription, activities on behalf of the second data subscription.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are disclosed by the present application. A request to establish a call using a first connection may be received, the first connection using a first radio access technology to communicate with a radio access network. During execution of a procedure to establish the call, a command to handover communications from the first connection to a second connection that uses a second radio access technology to communicate with the radio access network may be received. The second connection may be established in response to the command, and a message indicating that the request to establish the call was successfully received may be transmitted over the second connection. Also, a message indicating that an alert of the call is being issued may be transmitted over the second connection.

Methods and systems for performing time synchronization for a Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-VX) wireless interface of a vehicle are provided. In one example, a method comprises: determining, by a vehicle UE, whether a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver of the vehicle receives a GNSS signal including time information for a time synchronization operation for the vehicle's local clock source; based on whether the GNSS receiver receives a GNSS signal including the time information, adjusting a local clock time of the vehicle's local clock source based on one of: the time information included in the GNSS signal, or one or more wireless signals broadcasted from a base station; and adjusting, based on the adjusted local clock time, at least one of: a phase or a frequency of a clock signal supplied to the C-VX wireless interface.

Time synchronization operation in vehicle communication

A user equipment (UE) determines a tune-away gap in which the UE performs a tune-away from a first radio access technology (RAT) to a second RAT on a single radio frequency (RF) chain, and transmits an intended-false buffer status report (BSR) to modify a duration of the determined tune-away gap. The intended-false BSR indicates an intended-false value of uplink data pending in a buffer to be transmitted on the first RAT, so that an uplink grant for uplink data transmissions on the first RAT to be received at the UE is modified.
