In some embodiments, a method receives a file for transcoding. A timing requirement is associated with the transcoding of the file. The method generates a prediction of a timing estimation based on characteristics of the file and a set of target configurations. A target configuration in the set of target configurations is associated with a transcoding setting. The timing estimation is analyzed for the set of target configurations and the timing requirement to determine a transcoding configuration of a transcoding system. The transcoding configuration of the transcoding system is output to configure the transcoding system to transcode the file. The file is to be transcoded using at least a portion of the set of target configurations based on configuring of the transcoding system.

In some embodiments, a method generates a first representation of a first relationship between bitrate and quality based on first features of a first portion of a video. Also, the method generates a second representation of a second relationship between bitrate and quality based on second features of a second portion of a video. The first representation is analyzed to determine a first list of bitrates for the first portion of video and the second representation is analyzed to determine a second list of bitrates for the second portion of video. The first list of bitrates is different from the second list of bitrates. A method and device for predicting a flow capacity of an ecological river channel with vegetation are provided. The method includes: obtaining ecological rive channel geographic data during dry season and ecological zone vegetation data; obtaining a layout strategy of a liquid level sensor group based on ecological zone distribution data and ecological zone vegetation data, the layout strategy of the liquid level sensor group reflects an inundation status of emergent vegetation in the ecological zone by rivers during flood season; obtaining a prediction river flow data at a node location of the ecological zone based on a corrected roughness coefficient of the ecological zone and water level data during the flood season, the node location is a position corresponding to a cross section of the water flow. A directional monitoring for a specific zone is formed with the liquid level sensor group.

In some embodiments, a method selects a first template of pixels that is outside of a first block and a second template of pixels that is outside of the first block. Then, the method selects a first region of pixels that are inside the first block and a second region of pixels that are inside the first block. The steel plate of the cross-shaped structure in the fan-shaped distribution is used, so that the buoy can be turned up and continue to drift once it has fallen to the ground, greatly improving the efficiency of drift.
