Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to sensing a dynamic area on request. In an example method, a core network device receives a sensing request from a terminal device. The sensing request indicates an initial sensing area and a change tendency of the initial sensing area. The core network device transmits a sensing instruction to an access network device. The sensing instruction instructs the access network device to sense a target sensing area determined based on the initial sensing area and the change tendency. The core network device receives a sensing result of the target sensing area from the access network device. The core network device transmits a sensing response to the terminal device. The sensing response is determined based on the sensing result. In this way, resource utilization efficiency of sensing of a network device is improved and impact on communication performance of the network device is reduced.

On-demand sensing of dynamic sensing area

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to resource scheduling between network nodes. In example embodiments, a method comprises allocating, at a first network node, a first set of resources from a first resource pool for backhaul communication with a second network node in a network via a first link, the first resource pool comprising uplink and downlink resources shared with a first terminal device served by the first network node; transmitting a first indication of the first set of resources to the second network node; and receiving a second indication of a second set of resources from a second resource pool for the backhaul communication with the second network node via a second link, the second resource pool comprising uplink and downlink resources shared with a second terminal device served by the second network node. In this way, it is possible to achieve flexible resource scheduling among the network nodes.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, a device and a computer-readable medium for guaranteeing communication service. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a source network device that currently serves the terminal device transmits, to a target network device which will serve the terminal device, information about the amount of resources of network slices utilized by the terminal device. The target network device configures the amount of resources based on the information. In this way, successful handover of the terminal device from the source network device to the target network device is guaranteed, so as to ensure continuity of communication services of the terminal device. In addition, embodiments of the present disclosure creates a network slice in the target network device, which avoids possible interruptions of communication service caused by mapping from the terminal device to the slices supported by the target network device.

Method, device and computer-readable medium for guaranteeing communication service

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, device and computer readable storage medium implemented at a relay device. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the relay device determines whether a terminal device served by a network slice has to be handed over. In a case of determining that the terminal device has to be handed over, the relay device sends a request for local information to at least one candidate relay device, and the local information includes at least one of information associated with a backhaul link from a candidate relay device to a network device and slice configuration information of the candidate relay device. Based on the received local information, the relay device determines a candidate relay device for handover of the terminal device. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the relay device determines the candidate relay device to which the terminal device has to be handed over, based at least on the information associated with a backhaul link and the information associated with a network slice, so as to satisfy network slice configuration requirement and ensure backhaul quality of the terminal device.

A solution of reconstructing the network topology according to the traffic related information of each cell is proposed in the present invention, so as to achieve self-optimization of network. The traffic related information of a cell includes the traffic related information applicable to network topology reconstruction, or load related information as is named, including but not limited to time-frequency resource related amount that is used by the traffic data in the cell, traffic throughout of each cell or the wireless channel quality of each cell for transmitting traffic data, etc. The solutions in the present invention realize the network topology reconstruction according to traffic related information of multiple cells, therefore the network capacity and service quality could be effectively improved and the wireless relay communication network is applicable to those areas with unpredictable traffic distribution. The present invention provides a method and apparatus for data transmission in a communication network. In the present invention, additional frequency spectrum resources in an assistant wireless network are introduced by constructing emulation data channels for use by a user equipment in a cellular network, thereby expanding the resources in the cellular network and enhancing throughput of the cellular network. In addition, the original control channels between the base station and the user equipment in the cellular network are maintained, enabling the user equipment to have the quality of service QoS in the cellular network when using the assistant wireless network to transmit data, and sparing the user equipment from handover operations in establishing or releasing the emulation data channels, thereby complicated network control and management mechanisms used for the handover are not needed and thus the user experience is further enhanced. Moreover, it is relatively easy to be implemented and cost efficient.

The present invention provides a method and a device for adjusting the sleep mode of a mobile station in order to solve the problem in current multi-hop relay systems of long time delays in data transmission caused when data packets have to wait for the next listening window to reach the mobile station because of packet errors. Wherein, a relay apparatus judges whether the previous hop network apparatus needs to retransmit data packets to the mobile station; when the previous hop network apparatus needs to retransmit data packets to the mobile station, the relay apparatus transmits to the mobile station the adjustment related information for adjusting the sleep mode of the mobile station. The mobile station adjusts the sleep mode according to the adjustment related information. Preferably, the adjustment related information comprises indicating information for indicating that the mobile station is in triggered listening status within predetermined time interval. In addition, the relay apparatus may also report the adjustment related information to the previous hop network apparatus. The technical solution provided by the present invention obtains shorter time delays, utilizes wireless resources efficiently, and decreases demand on relay apparatus.

Method and device for adjusting sleep mode of mobile station

The present invention discloses a method of requesting resource from a resource allocating apparatus by a request requesting apparatus, a resource allocating apparatus, a resource requesting apparatus and a communication system. The method comprises the following steps: sending a resource request message from the resource requesting apparatus to the resource allocating apparatus; after receiving the resource request message, if resource cannot be allocated within a set time interval with respect to the resource requesting apparatus, sending an acknowledgement for the resource request message from the resource allocating apparatus to the resource requesting apparatus; and if the resource is allocated to the resource requesting apparatus within the set time interval, not sending the acknowledgement for the resource request message from the resource allocating apparatus to the resource requesting apparatus. Utilizing the method and structure of the present invention, the resource allocating apparatus sends additional acknowledgement message only if needed, therefore overhead is reduced much more. Moreover, since the solution of the present invention does not change any signaling exchanged between the resource allocating apparatus and the resource requesting apparatus, it is able to meet the requirement of backward compatibility.

The present invention proposes new method(s) and apparatus(es) used for request and allocation of uplink transmission resource in wireless access network, which enables the mobile terminal to use non-contention resources closely spaced on time domain to trigger or adjust reallocation of uplink resource, so that quick response of the base station to the resource allocation request of a mobile terminal is effectively realized, and the demand of delay sensitive service is satisfied.

Method and apparatus for requesting and handling uplink resource allocation in wireless access network

To address the drawbacks of the current bandwidth requesting and allocation in the wireless broadband access network, the present invention proposes a technical solution of fast bandwidth requesting and allocation, wherein the MS sends a bandwidth allocation request message to the BS for only once, and the interactions between the BS and the MS are decreased so as to increase the efficiency of bandwidth requesting and allocation, effectively shorten the transmission waiting time of traffic data, and especially improve the support for latency-sensitive data traffic. The present invention relates to a wireless self-backhaul technique in a wireless communication network, especially in a WiMAX network, which implements wireless backhaul between base stations by using radio resources (frequency, sub-band or timeslot) of base stations' own. More specifically, uplink and downlink backhaul channels are formed between a master base station and a slaver base station using base stations' inherent resources and through offsetting the frame start time of the slaver base station for a period of time in relation to the master base station. The slaver base station operates in base station mode during local user access and operates in subscriber station mode during implementing wireless backhaul traffic with the master base station. Therefore, the slaver base station needs to switch between these two operating modes.

The present invention discloses a method and a base station for allocating bandwidth for subscriber stations and a backhaul station through taking into joint consideration uplink and down bandwidth requests from respective subscriber stations in a wireless single-hop self-backhaul network.
