A method for testing an audio player device is provided. The method includes: transcribing sound signals of each of the audio files which are supposed to be supported by the audio player device as a sound file; determining the ID code of each of the sound files; and determining whether the ID code of each of the sound files has been listed on a predetermined audio format table by comparing the ID code of each of the sound files with the ID codes listed on the audio format table, thus to determine which of audio formats listed on the audio format table is supported by the audio player device according to the relationships of the ID codes and the audio formats recorded by the audio format table. A test device applying the method to testing audio player devices is also provided.

The method includes steps of: capturing an image; acquiring a horizontal strip of a to-be-tested image which includes at least a portion of each of the color interval column of the image; comparing a standard deviation A of RGB values of pixels in a vertical sample with a standard deviation B of RGB values of pixels an adjacent vertical sample to obtain samples of each color interval from many samples taken; taking pixels from many vertical samples of each color interval to calculate a mean value of the RGB values of each color interval respectively, determining a color corresponding to each of color intervals, and determining an interval sequence of the to-be-tested image and the code sequence of the color intervals; and determining an image format corresponding to the code sequence according to the image format table which records a plurality of image formats corresponding to the interval sequences of the color intervals of the images.

A positioning measurement method is provided. The method includes the step of: capturing images of a standard object and to-be-measured objects; selecting one or more standard points from the image of the standard object; selecting a general location area and a standard area by taking each standard point as a reference point; generating a script for recording positions of each general location area and capturing a standard image in each standard area; storing the script into the data storage; determining the position of the general location area on the image of the to-be-measured object according to the position of general location area recorded in the script; and determining a measurement area, the image in the measurement area is most similar to the standard image within the general location area.
