A printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) includes a printed circuit board (PCB) with through holes, a supporting member standing on the PCB adjacent to the through holes, and an electronic component mounted on the PCB is provided. The electronic component includes a component body and a plurality of conductive leads. Fixing ends of the conductive leads of the electronic component is received in the though hole and electrically and mechanically fixed to the PCB. The component body of the electronic component is supported by the supporting member.

Method of mounting an electronic component on a circuit board

A cable positioning mechanism includes a main body and first and second positioning members arranged on the main body. The first positioning member includes a first surface and a second surface connecting with the first surface. The second positioning member includes a first end parallel to the second surface and a second end parallel to the first surface. The second end cooperates with the second surface to define a first holding space for allowing a cable being placed thereinto. The first end cooperates with the first surface to define a second holding space communicating with the first holding space. The second positioning member further includes a hook. The hook extends into the second holding space and clamps the cable to the main body when the cable is rotated to be received in the second holding space. An electronic device using the cable positioning mechanism is also provided.

An optical recording apparatus includes a traverse, a control circuit board, a shield substrate and an flexible flat cable (FFC). The traverse includes a spindle motor for rotating an optical disc and an optical pickup head for reading and/or writing the optical disc, the optical pickup head moves along a radial direction of the optical disc when reading and/or writing the optical disc. The FFC electrically connects the optical pickup head and the control circuit board and transmits signals between them, and a portion of the FFC adjacent to the second end is bent to facing the shield substrate. The shield substrate includes at least two limiting members, and the at least two limiting members are positioned at two opposite sides of the portion of the FFC facing the shield substrate to enable the portion of the FFC facing the shield substrate to move along the first direction.

Each elastic arm includes a connecting section extending outwardly from the holding portion and a locking section protruding outwardly from the connecting section towards the operating portion. The locking sections of the elastic arms abut an inner face of the casing, whereby the slidable button is fixed to the casing.

An electronic device includes an EMI shielding board, two electronic components and a flat cable. The EMI shielding board includes a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The two electronic components are arranged at the first side of the EMI shielding board. The flat cable is connected between the two electronic components. The EMI shielding board further includes a first through slot and a second through slot both configured therein. The flat cable passes through the EMI shielding board via the first and second through slots. An exemplary electronic device includes a cover, a circuit board and a driving module both mounted on the bottom cover, an electronic component fixed on the circuit board, and a top cover covering the bottom cover. The driving module has a rotating shaft adapted for supportively driving an optical disk to rotate. The electronic component generates heat during operation. Through holes are defined in the top cover and located at a periphery of the rotating shaft. When the optical disk is mounted on the rotating shaft and driven to rotate by the rotating shaft, air heated by the electronic component in the electronic device can flow out of the top cover via the through holes, and rotation of the optical disk facilitates such airflow.

An exemplary electronic device includes a shell, a mother board and a metal sheet disposed at an inner side of the shell, an electronic apparatus fixed on the mother board, and a heat conducting plate thermally connecting the electronic apparatus with the metal sheet. The metal sheet is located between the shell and the mother board to shield electro magnetic interference from the electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus generates heat when working. The electronic apparatus is located between the mother board and the metal sheet, and is spaced from the metal sheet.

An exemplary electronic device includes a cover, a circuit board and a driving module both mounted on the bottom cover, an electronic component fixed on the circuit board, a heat dissipating plate mounted on the circuit board and thermally contacting the electronic component, and a top cover covering the bottom cover. The driving module has a rotating shaft adapted for supportively driving an optical disk to rotate. The electronic component generates heat during operation. Through holes are defined in the top cover and located at a periphery of the rotating shaft. Two opposing elongated extending portions extend downwardly from the heat dissipating plate towards the circuit board. An airflow channel is formed between the two extending portions under the heat dissipating plate and aligned with the electronic component.

An exemplary electronic device includes a cover, a motherboard and a driving module both disposed at an inner side of the cover, an electronic component fixed on the motherboard, and a fan duct mounted on the motherboard and covering the electronic component. The driving module has a rotating shaft for supportively driving an optical disk rotating. The fan duct guides hot air therein toward the driving module.

An exemplary electronic device includes a shell, a circuit board located in an inner side of the shell, a toggle switch positioned on the circuit board, and a slide button. The toggle switch includes a pin. The shell defines a through hole therein. The slide button includes an operating portion located at an outer side of the shell, a curved body extending obliquely from a side of the operating portion. The body of the slide button extends through the through hole of the shell. A distal end of the body of the slide button engages with the pin of the toggle switch. The pin of the toggle switch can be caused to move by moving the slide button.

An optical disk player includes a main body, a cover engaging with the main body, a pivot module, and a deceleration module. The pivot module includes a torsion spring, two ends of the torsion spring being fixed on the main body and the cover respectively. The deceleration module includes a first deceleration portion arranged on the main body and a second deceleration portion arranged on the pivot module. The first deceleration portion contacts the second deceleration portion and frictional forces therebetween reduces the speed of opening the cover.
