Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, signaling indicating one or more common timing offset parameters that are based at least in part on one or more delays between a satellite and a reference point in a non-terrestrial network (NTN). The UE may determine a transmit time for an uplink signal based at least in part on the one or more common timing offset parameters and a starting time associated with an uplink slot in which the uplink signal is to arrive at the reference point. The UE may transmit the uplink signal at the transmit time. Numerous other aspects are described.

A user equipment (UE) may determine an inactivity timer associated with a first set of one or more beams used for communicating with a network entity associated with a satellite has expired. The UE may identify location information corresponding to the location of the UE with respect to the network entity. The UE may identify beam geometry information for one or more beams associated with the network entity. For example, the UE may receive the beam geometry information from the network entity. The UE may process the location information and the beam geometry information to identify a second set of one or more beams, the second set different than the first set. The UE and the network entity may communicate according to the second set of one or more beams.

A method includes receiving, from a second network entity of a second network of a second network operator, frequency allocation information indicating a first allocation pattern identifying, for each of at least one cell, a corresponding frequency channel band of a frequency band spanning a plurality of frequency channel bands, wherein the first allocation pattern identifies a first frequency channel band of the plurality of frequency channel bands for a first cell of the at least one cell; and sending an indication to at least a first user equipment (UE) indicating to communicate in the first cell using a second frequency channel band of the plurality of frequency channel bands that is different than the first frequency channel band.

For example, the adjustment to the transmission parameter may include adjusting a transmit power, adjusting a transmit frequency, adapting a transmission time, changing an antenna port, or a combination thereof. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) generally including receiving signaling indicating one or more values for a scheduling offset between a downlink slot where downlink control information (DCI) is received and an uplink slot for transmitting a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) scheduled by the DCI; determining an additional offset to be used in conjunction with the scheduling offset values to determine PUSCH transmission timing; determining a power control adjustment for a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission based on transmission power control (TPC) commands received in a time interval determined by one of the scheduling offset values and the additional offset; and transmitting SRS in an SRS transmission occasion, in accordance with the determined power control adjustment.

Power control for sounding reference signal in non-terrestrial networks

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Described techniques provide for mitigating error in time or frequency adjustments for preambles of a random access procedure. A user equipment may use one value for the adjustment when transmitting data to a non-terrestrial network, but then transmit the preamble of a random access procedure according to a preamble-specific time or frequency adjustment based on one or more indications received from the network (e.g., rather than resetting the adjustment to '0'). By using some signaled value for the preamble-specific timing or frequency adjustment rather than resetting the adjustment to “0,” preamble reception performance may be maintained or improved with as many or fewer position measurements for the UE or non-terrestrial network entity.

Closed loop time and frequency corrections in non-terrestrial networks

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify time and frequency resources for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE) in a first transmission time interval (TTI). The base station may transmit configuration information for a control channel search space set in a second TTI. The second TTI may precede the first TTI. The configuration information may include an indication of an absence of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission to send in the control channel search space set indicating the identified time and frequency resources for the PDSCH, and a set of time and frequency resources for the control channel search space set. The UE may receive the configuration information and identify the time and frequency resources allocated for the PDSCH in the second TTI, and receive the PDSCH transmission in the second TTI.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure are directed to techniques for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook design. For example, a user equipment (UE) configured for feedback processing may comprise a memory and a processor configured to receive, from a base station (BS), a first indication of a first feedback process type for providing feedback to the BS for a plurality of feedback processes of the UE. The memory and the processor may also be configured to receive one or more first downlink transmissions from the BS associated with at least one feedback process of the plurality of feedback processes. The memory and the processor may also be configured to transmit feedback or withhold transmission of feedback to the BS regarding decoding of the one or more first downlink transmissions according to the first feedback process type.
