A glass production apparatus producing continuously curved glass for covers and containers includes a crucible, a calender device, a cutting device, a molding device, and a crystallizing device. The crucible melts glass raw material and outputs a glass melt to calender device. The calender device rolls and presses the glass melt to prepare a glass belt with a preset temperature. The cutting device cuts the glass belt with the preset temperature into glass members. The molding device include at least one molding mold and a manipulator. Each of the at least one molding mold curves at least one portion of the glass member with the preset temperature to prepare a curved glass member. The manipulator transfers the curved glass member to the crystallizing device, the crystallizing device crystallizes the curved glass member to prepare a curved crystalline glass member. A method for manufacturing such glass is also provided.

Glass production apparatus and method for manufacturing glass

A production apparatus making continuously curved crystalline glass as a cover or container includes a melting device, a drainage device, a molding device, and a crystallizing device. The melting device melts glass raw material to form a glass melt. The drainage device drains the glass melt to the molding device. The molding device includes a rotating table and a plurality of molding molds thereon. Each molding mold can be moved toward or away from the drainage device by the rotating table. Each molding mold has a molding cavity. At least one part of the molding cavity includes a plane, and at least one part of the molding cavity includes a curved surface to extrude the glass melt with such different surface forms. The crystallizing device crystallizes the curved glass member to achieve the curved crystallized glass member. A method for manufacturing such glass is also provided.

A processing room includes a processing chamber, a discharge chamber, a sealing member, a blocking member, and a reclaiming member. The discharge chamber includes a main body communicating with the processing chamber, and a receiving portion and a discharge portion communicating with the main body. The receiving portion is aligned to the discharge portion. The sealing member includes a sealing portion and a sealing valve mounted on the sealing portion. The sealing portion is partially and moveably received in the receiving portion and resists against a sidewall of the receiving portion. The blocking member is detachably mounted on an end of the discharge portion and seals the discharge portion. The reclaiming member is partially received in the main body.

A pressure casting machine can be configured to mold a molten material into a workpiece. The pressure casting machine can include a vacuum chamber and a pressure casting mechanism coupled to the vacuum chamber. The vacuum chamber can include a processing section having a top wall and a bottom wall opposite to the top wall, a first gate configured to seal the processing section, and a first vacuum pump coupled to the processing section. The pressure casting mechanism can include a first driver positioned adjacent to the top wall, a first core received in the processing section and coupled to the first driver, a second core received in the processing section, and a plurality of pushing members received in the processing section. The second core can be coupled to the bottom wall and opposite to the first core. The pushing members can be coupled to the top wall.

A method of making a Zr-rich amorphous alloy article includes providing a Zr-rich master alloy made of an Zr&#x2014;Cu&#x2014;Al&#x2014;Ni&#x2014;Nb alloy, in which the purity of the raw Zr is substantially in a range of 98% to 99.9%; providing a vacuum induction furnace, and melting the Zr-rich master alloy in the furnace at a temperature in a range of 1100 degrees Celsius to 1200 degrees Celsius; cooling the master alloy to a temperature in a range from 800 degrees Celsius to 900 degrees Celsius in 30 min to 40 min; casting the master alloy into ingots, and then cooling the ingots to a temperature in a range from 200 degrees Celsius to 350 degrees Celsius; and die casting the alloy ingots to obtain Zr-rich amorphous alloy articles with thicknesses in a range of 0.5 mm to 2 mm. A Zr-rich amorphous alloy article made by the above-mentioned method is further provided.

A method for making a metallic cover including the following steps. Drawing an aluminum alloy sheet that has a yield strength in a range from about 80 MPa to about 150 MPa, an elongation ratio in a range from about 15% to about 28%, and a hardness in a range from about 45 HV0.2 to about 70 HV0.2 to form a preformed cover. The preformed cover includes a bottom base and a plurality of side walls, and each of the side wall and the bottom base are connected by a curved-cornered edge. Pressing the curved-cornered edge of the preformed cover into a sharp-cornered edge structure by a forming die. Polishing the preformed cover. Anodizing the polished preformed cover to form the metallic cover.
