The present disclosure relates to the technical field of semiconductors, and discloses a semiconductor device and a manufacturing method therefor. The manufacturing method includes: providing a semiconductor structure, where the semiconductor structure includes an active region and a gate structure located in the active region, the gate structure at least including a gate electrode, and the active region exposing an upper surface of the gate electrode; forming a surface insulator layer on the upper surface of the gate electrode; forming a patterned interlayer dielectric layer on the semiconductor structure, where the interlayer dielectric layer covers the surface insulator layer, and has a first through hole exposing a portion of the active region; and forming a conductive contact layer passing through the first through hole and contacting with the active region. The present disclosure may reduce a leakage current which is possibly generated between the conductive contact layer and the gate electrode, so as to improve the performance of the device.

A semiconductor device having a capacitive pressure sensor structure includes a substrate, an interlayer dielectric layer on the substrate, a bottom electrode of a pressure sensor within the interlayer dielectric layer, a pressure sensing cavity above the bottom electrode, a sensing film above the pressure sensing cavity and covering a portion of the interlayer dielectric layer, a cover layer on the interlayer dielectric layer and on the sensing film, the cover layer having an opening exposing a portion of the sensing film, and a high thermal expansion coefficient material layer disposed on cover layer and sidewalls of the opening. Through the use of the high thermal expansion coefficient material layer, the capacitive pressure sensor structure is not susceptible to changes in ambient temperature to enhance the sensitivity of the capacitive pressure sensor structure.

A method for forming a semiconductor structure is provided. The method includes providing a substrate having a device region; and forming a sacrificial layer on a surface of the substrate in the device region. The method also includes forming a device layer having a plurality of openings exposing a portion of the surface of the sacrificial layer on the sacrificial layer; and removing the sacrificial layer to expose the surface of the substrate in the device region. Further, the method includes forming a cavity in the substrate in the device region by simultaneously etching the surface of the substrate in the device region exposed by the removed sacrificial layer and the plurality of openings using an anisotropic etching process.
