An apparatus and method for realizing the access of a legacy terminal to an IMS system. The apparatus includes a session control module, a downlink signaling interface function module, a downlink bearer interface function module, an uplink signaling interface function module, an uplink bearer interface function module and a media interworking module. The session control module registers the terminal that has entered service status to the I-CSCF on IMS side. During the session, the uplink signaling interface function module provides SIP signaling interaction with the CSCF function entity of IMS core network; the downlink signaling interface function module provides signaling interaction with the legacy terminal; the media interworking module provides the connection and media adaptation between the uplink bearer interface function module and the downlink bearer interface function module. The invention enables the services of the legacy networks such as PSTN/ISDN and the like to be integrated with those of IMS networks, thus reducing the cost of network construction and operation.

Apparatus for a terminal to access an IMS system and the method thereof

The present invention discloses a route service device and a method and a system for realizing call route by the device, in which, route service device and soft switch control device are networked in a layered way, the soft switch control device is the node of the lowest layer, when the user route changes, the soft switch control device reports route information including user node to the father node; the route service device performs registration, and broadcasts the changed route information to the father node, each related route service device performs registration and broadcast by the same way; when calling across domains, the soft switch control device where the calling locates initiates inquiry toward the father node, and receives the returned inquiring result, therefore routing the call to the soft switch control device where the called locates. The present invention employs route service device to replace soft switch control device for performing call route function, therefore enabling the soft switch control device absorbed in providing services, and also providing a scheme of large scale networking at telecommunication level for soft switch control device.

Route servicing device, method and system applying the device

The present invention provides a device for realizing disaster recovery of soft-switch based on packet network, comprising at least two core control devices located in different places which provide control service for their respective access equipments; wherein said core control devices further include a process unit, a database unit, a share unit and a synchronization process unit which are specifically used for remote disaster recovery; said process unit and database unit are independent of the processor and the database already existing within the core control devices, and are specifically used for providing service for remote access equipments, thereby making the core control devices in different places be of mutual disaster recovery relation; said share unit is used for sharing processing ability and data; and said synchronization process unit is used for synchronizing data between the core control devices of mutual disaster recovery. The core control devices capable of providing disaster recovery function of the present invention guarantee uninterrupted operation for system, and provide high accessability of the access equipments in the packet switch network.

Apparatus for realizing soft-switch allopatric disaster recovery based on packet network

A system and method of realizing subscriber's roaming service through the route server, employed in next generation network system which realizes cross-domain calling route through the route server, wherein when the roaming device is accessed, the register server judges whether the roaming device is a contracted subscriber or a roaming subscriber, then performs authentication, and notifies the soft switch control device to perform register operation and report location update message, for the contracted describer, the register server further needs to notify the roaming region that the subscriber has returned, and initiates location update in the roaming region, for the roaming subscriber, the register server sends register message to the home region to obtain the subscriber's service information and the location information of the contracted area, the register server of the home region registers the location information of the roaming area and reports the location update message, for the roaming subscriber-related service, the soft switch control device can accomplish connection and control according to normal procedure. The system and method of the present invention can realize subscriber's roaming service.
