The touch panel may include a substrate, and a first touch electrode pattern and a second touch electrode pattern that are stacked on the substrate. The first touch electrode pattern includes a plurality of first touch traces and the second touch electrode pattern includes a plurality of second touch traces. A width of at least one end portion of at least one touch trace is less than a width of a part other than the end portion.

The present invention relates to a micro-volume liquid ejection system, including an air pressure module, a micro-ejection unit which is connected with the air pressure module by a conduit, and a control circuit which is connected with the air pressure module and the micro-ejection unit respectively. The air is used as the pressure medium, resulting in improved cleaning process and reduced sample waste. The present invention includes an electric control circuit to pick up sample, eject sample and clean the conduits automatically, and enables handling of a multiplicity of samples. The present invention can be used for transferring or dispensing micro volume liquid including biological liquid on a nL and &#x3bc;L scale.

Micro-volume liquid ejection system

A device for biochip hybridization or washing is provided, which comprises a carousel (), a translational movement controller, a revolving movement controller, and optionally a heating chamber (). The revolving movement controller controls the revolving movement of the carousel and allows it to move in a wobbling fashion, allowing liquid movement of the hybridization or washing boxes () during hybridization and/or washing of biochips on the carousel. The translational movement controller brings the carousel back to horizontal position once the revolving movement controller stops, thereby ensures that the liquid do not spill out. The heating chamber circulates hot air within the device, thereby ensures that the hybridization and washing in a thermostatic condition.

The present invention provides a sample preparation device for extracting drug residue. It comprises a case, in which a water bath, a vortex mixer, and a homogenizer are integrated. The case also has on it an integrated control panel for controlling heating temperature of the water bath and homogenization time of the homogenizer.

The invention provides a scanning platform for high speed scanning of microarrays. The platform uses a novel flexible a metal strip/wheel linear driving system to convert rotary movement of motors into linear movement, thereby drives movement of a stage/microarray in the direction of scanning. The platform of the present invention provides high movement speed, high resolution, and low return deviation. It is also simple in structure and low in manufacturing cost.

This invention relates generally to the field of microarray reaction devices and uses thereof. In particular, the invention provides a microarray reaction device wherein a plurality of reaction spaces are formed between a first and second plurality of projections, the heights of said plurality of reaction spaces being substantially identical and controllable by a supporting structure, and the relative positions between the first and second plurality of projections being controllable by a positioning structure. The invention provides a novel optical system for use in a microarray scanner, comprising an aperture-containing reflecting mirror comprising an aperture and a reflecting surface. The aperture of the aperture-containing reflecting mirror allows an excitation light to pass through, and the reflecting surface of the aperture-containing reflecting mirror allows emission light from a microarray to be reflected. The optical system may also comprises various other components such as laser generators, beam splitter, reflecting mirrors, excitation and emission light filters, excitation and emission objective lens, pinhole, and detector. The optical system described herein has high efficiency, high sensitivity, low background noise, structurally simple, and high versatility.

The invention provides a laser microarray scanner for microarray scanning, comprising an optical system, a scanning platform, and a data processing system. During scanning, the optical system remains fixed, and the microarray placed on the scanning platform moves relative to the optical system. The microarray scanner disclosed herein has high scanning speed, high sensitivity, high resolution, and high signal-to-noise ratio, thus is ideal for use in microarray scanning

A low-cost, easy to operate, three-phase tilting agitator for microarrays, including large area microarrays, provides experimentally verified improvements in hybridization intensity and uniformity. Motion is coupled from a single motor to a sample holder via three suspension tethers. The microarrays may be immersed in a water bath during agitation to maintain a temperature for the hybridization reaction. The use of traditional cover slips for the microarrays minimizes the volume requirement for target sample solution.
