Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for associating a browser with an application through a designated local service process are provided. One of the methods includes: receiving a window request instruction from a Web client, searching a designated browser window where the Web client is located according to the window request instruction, creating an application window to be associated with the designated browser window, and associating the application window with the designated browser window.

Associating browser with application

A method and apparatus for video playing, an electronic device and a storage medium are provided. In the method, a web service program calls a preset interface to create a video window; the video window is displayed in a page in which the current window of a browser is located; a video playing instruction is received; and a video corresponding to the video playing instruction is played in the video window. In the present application, a video window is created through a web service program; the created video window is displayed in the page in which the current window of the browser is located, and then the video is played through the video window. In this way, the video may be played without loading a plug-in, achieving the purpose of playing a video on a page of a browser without using a plug-in.

Video playing method and device, electronic equipment and storage medium

A method and apparatus for voice transmission and reception by a browser and a voice intercom system are provided. The method for voice transmission by a browser includes: collecting first voice data through a built-in audio collection interface of the browser (S); obtaining a first voice sampling parameter that can be utilized by a target device (S) to process voice data; sampling the first voice data based on the first voice sampling parameter to obtain target voice data (S); and transmitting the target voice data to the target device (S). The method enables a browser to have a function of voice intercom without using a plug-in.
