A silicone pressure sensitive adhesive with amphiphilic copolymers for maintaining adhesion in a moist environment. The amphiphilic copolymers for silicone adhesives include at least one silicone moiety and at least one hydrophilic segment. Such adhesives are applicable to securing medical devices to human skin.

Compounds of Formulae I' and I are described, which are useful as stimulators of sGC, particularly NO-independent, heme-dependent stimulators. These compounds are also useful for treating, preventing or managing various disorders that are herein disclosed.

The present invention relates to compounds and methods useful for inhibiting the DNA polymerase IIIC enzyme. The invention also provides pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprising compounds of the present invention and methods of using said compositions in the treatment of Gram-positive bacterial infections.

The present invention relates to compounds and methods useful for inhibiting the DNA polymerase IIIC enzyme. The invention also provides pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprising compounds of the present invention and methods of using said compositions in the treatment of Gram-positive bacteria infections. 

Pressure sensitive adhesives with amphiphilic copolymers

A process for improving sensitivity of a film base, coated with a dispersion of a normally crystalline polyacetylenic compound in a non-solvating liquid which is dried on the film surface, to particular photon energy band, specifically, long wavelength UV; the polyacetylenic compound preferably having at least two conjugated acetylenic linkages and containing from 12 to 60 carbon atoms. The sensitization of the film to long wavelength UV is achieved via the addition of photoinitiator(s) capable of absorbing UV energy and converting it to free radicals.

The present disclosure relates to compounds useful as inhibitors of the enzyme Fatty Acid Amide Hydrolase (FAAH). The disclosure also provides pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprising the compounds of the disclosure and methods of using the compositions in the treatment or prevention of various disorders. Compounds of the invention are described in Table 1.

FAAH inhibitors

The invention relates to a chemotherapeutic cancer treatment in which compounds (BH3Is) are administered to a mammal to treat B-cell Lymphoma or other hematopoietic cancers, including diseases associated with MCL-1. The invention also provides a method for treating types of hematopoietic cancers, such as B-cell lymphoma, using a combination of one or more disclosed compounds in combination with other therapes, for example, 26S proteasome inhibitors, such as, for example, Bortezomib. The invention also relates to autoimmune treatment with pharmaceutical compositions comprising one or more disclosed compounds. The invention also relates to methods for identifying compounds, for example, compounds of the BH3 mimic class, that have unique in vitro properties that predict in vivo efficacy against B-cell lymphoma tumors and other cancers as well as autoimmune disease. The present invention relates to amphiphilic pressure sensitive adhesives, specifically, pressure sensitive adhesives with amphiphilic copolymers which improve adhesion under moist environment. The amphiphilic copolymers comprise at least one hydrophobic acrylic monomer or oligomer and at least one hydrophilic or amphiphilic monomer or oligomer. The present invention also relates to the use of such adhesives in securing medical devices to human skin.
