A method for evaluating a consistency of a battery pack is provided, including: obtaining an initial/real rated capacity and an initial/real dischargeable electric quantity of each cell in a battery pack after a charge and discharge cycle of the battery pack; generating a first/second data diagram for every cells based upon the initial/real rated capacity and the initial/real dischargeable electric quantity; obtaining a first/second information of key cells in the first/second data diagram, defining an initial/real cell distribution region according to the first/second information by processing the first/second data diagram, and calculating a first/second area of the initial/real cell distribution region; and evaluating the consistency of the battery pack according to the first/second area. A strategy for balancing the battery pack is further provided.

The present disclosure relates to a method for making an electrode material of lithium-ion batteries. In the method, a lithium source solution and a plurality of titanium source particles are provided. The lithium source solution and the titanium source particles are mixed, wherein a molar ratio of lithium element to titanium element is in a range from about 4:5 to about 9:10, thereby forming a sol. A carbon source compound is dispersed into the sol to form a sol mixture. The sol mixture is spray dried to form a plurality of precursor particles. The precursor particles are heated to form a lithium titanate composite electrode material.

The present disclosure relates to a method for making a cathode active material coating liquid including steps of forming a phosphate ester solution by adding a phosphate ester in an alcoholic solvent, introducing an aluminum salt to the phosphate ester solution, the aluminum salt being soluble to the alcoholic solvent, and the aluminum salt reacting with the phosphate ester to form a homogeneous clear solution, and adding an acidity regulator to adjust a pH value of the homogenous clear solution to 6 to 7. The present disclosure also relates to a cathode active material coating liquid and a method for coating the cathode active material.

The present disclosure provides a method for making a cathode active material coating liquid. A phosphate ester solution is formed by adding a phosphate ester in an alcoholic solvent. An aluminum nitrate is introduced in the phosphate ester solution. The aluminum nitrate is soluble to the alcoholic solvent, and reacts with the phosphate ester to form a homogeneous clear solution. A pH value of the homogeneous clear solution is regulated to a range from about 6 to about 7 by adding an acidity regulator. The acidity regulator contains ammonium cation. The ammonium nitrate is removed from the clear solution after regulating the pH value. A method for coating the cathode active material is also provided.

The present disclosure provides an electrolyte liquid of a lithium sulfur battery comprising a carbonate ester organic solvent, a lithium salt, and a flame-retardant cosolvent, the flame-retardant cosolvent being a phosphazene compound, wherein a mass percentage of the flame-retardant cosolvent is 20% to 50%, a concentration of the lithium salt is 0.8 mol/L to 1.2 mol/L. The present disclosure also provides a lithium sulfur battery and a method for preparing the electrolyte liquid.
