The present invention provides a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and a display apparatus using the same. The LCD panel comprises a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The second substrate comprises pixels, wherein, when images are displayed by the pixels, a voltage difference between a first voltage of the first sub-pixels and a second voltage of the second sub-pixels is inversely proportional to a grayscale of the images displayed by the pixels, and the first voltage is higher than the second voltage. The present invention can mitigate the viewing angle problem of the pixels.

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and a display apparatus using the same. The LCD panel comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer and quarter wave (&#x3bb;/4) pattern retarder films. The second electrode of the second substrate comprises first sub-pixels and second sub-pixels. When images are displayed by the pixels, a voltage difference between a first voltage of the first sub-pixels and a second voltage of the second sub-pixels is inversely proportional to a grayscale of the images displayed by the pixels. Liquid crystal display panel and display apparatus using the same

The present invention provides a drive circuit of liquid crystal panel, which includes a gate driver, a source driver, a plurality of gate lines, and a plurality of data lines. The plurality of gate lines and data lines define a plurality of pixel units. Each of the pixel units includes a thin-film transistor, a common electrode, a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin-film transistor, and a correction capacitor. The thin-film transistor is electrically connected to the gate driver and the source driver respectively by means of the gate lines and the data lines. The common electrode and the pixel electrode constitute a liquid crystal capacitor. The thin-film transistor includes a gate terminal and a drain terminal. The correction capacitor is electrically connected between the gate terminal and the drain terminal for correcting a parasitic capacitor generated between the gate terminal ad the drain terminal due to structural characteristics.

A drive circuit of liquid crystal panel includes a gate driver, a source driver, gate lines, and the data lines. The gate lines and the data lines define multiple pixel units each of which includes a thin-film transistor, a common electrode, a pixel electrode, and a storage capacitor. The thin-film transistor is electrically connected to the gate driver and the source driver via the gate line and the data line. The gate driver includes a drive combination circuit, which includes a first electrical switch, an amplifier, a first drive source, a second drive source, a first resistor, a third drive source, a second resistor, a third resistor, a second electrical switch and a fourth drive source. The drive circuit reduces the influence of a parasitic capacitor on the extension of conduction time of the thin-film transistor and improves the quality of a large-sized liquid crystal display device using the circuit.

The method includes providing a liquid crystal display device, which includes a glass substrate having a liquid crystal panel drive circuit formed thereon and including a timing controller and pixel units each including a thin-film transistor, a common electrode, a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin-film transistor, a compensation unit, and a storage capacitor, the compensation unit including a compensation capacitor, the timing controller being electrically connected to the compensation unit and the pixel electrode; calculating discharging/charging time of the compensation capacitor; activating the liquid crystal display device, where the source driver applies a drive voltage via the thin-film transistor to the pixel electrode; and the timing controller controlling the compensation unit to conduct on or cut off according to the drive voltage.
