A beam failure processing method includes determining a beam failure of a first cell. A beam failure recovery procedure of a primary cell in the first cell and a second cell is performed before beam failure recovery of the first cell succeeds and if a beam failure of the second cell is determined. The first cell is the primary cell and the second cell is a secondary cell, or the first cell is the secondary cell and the second cell is the primary cell. The method also includes sending information to a network device. The information is used to indicate at least a beam failure of the primary cell in the first cell and the second cell.

Beam failure processing method and apparatus

Aspects of the present disclosure provide a manner of avoiding excessive latency and resource consumption due to exhaustive beam searching and pairing for finding an appropriate bi-directional beam pair combination with manageable mutual interference to enable point-to-point FD transmission. Aspects of the present disclosure also provide a solution for enabling multi-user transmission where one or all UEs are with FD capability and the cross-UE interference raised from FD transmission are measured and taken into account during multi-user pairing.

Methods and systems for receive and transmit beam pairing in full duplex systems

Some aspects of the present disclosure enable a network to account for impacts of digital transmit and receive precoding at the user equipment (UE) side in the presence of UE self-interference that may occur during full duplex (FD) operation. Some aspects of the present disclosure include joint downlink (DL) node selection or beam selection, or both, and UE self-interference emulation, so that the UE is enabled with FD operation that includes receiving from one node, but transmitting towards another node. When compared with the case where the UE receives from, and transmits, to a same node, because when two separate nodes are involved and the two nodes are more physically separated, the chance of achieving higher cross-link isolation, and hence FD transmission, is higher.

Methods and systems for channel state acquisition with self-interference in full duplex systems

This application provides a data transmission method and apparatus, to determine a TC-state used for data transmission and correctly receive downlink data, thereby improving data transmission efficiency. The method includes: receiving a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), where the first PDCCH is used to schedule a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); receiving a downlink signal by using a first transmission configuration indicator state (TC-state); obtaining a time interval between the first PDCCH and the first PDSCH; and if the time interval is less than a preset threshold, obtaining the first PDSCH from the downlink signal.

Data transmission method and apparatus

This application discloses an information determining method and an apparatus, the information determining method includes: receiving second indication information from a network device; and determining, based on a plurality of parameters indicated by the second indication information, a transmission manner of transmitting same data by using a plurality of transmission configuration indicator states (TCI-states), wherein the plurality of parameters comprise at least a quantity of TCI-states and a quantity of consecutive transmissions of the same data.

One method includes: receiving first indication information on a first component carrier (CC), wherein the first indication information indicates a bandwidth part (BWP) for transmitting a downlink signal and a second CC to which the BWP belongs; determining a first mapping relationship based on the second CC and the BWP, wherein the first mapping relationship indicates a correspondence between at least one transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state and at least one TCI value; determining a TCI state based on the first mapping relationship and a received TCI; determining, based on the TCI state, a receive beam for receiving the downlink signal; and receiving the downlink signal in the BWP on the second CC by using the receive beam.

Signal receiving and sending method and communications apparatus

This application provides a communication method and device. The method includes: A terminal device receives a reference signal from a network device, wherein the reference signal is not in a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) resource set, configured with repetition on; and performs radio link monitoring (RLM) measurement or beam failure detection (BFD) measurement on the reference signal. According to the communication method and device provided in this application, the terminal device expects that the resource configured by the network device for performing BFD or RLM is not any resource in the CSI-RS resource set configured with the repetition on.

Communication method and device

This application provides a resource management method and apparatus. A terminal determines at least one reference signal resource corresponding to each of at least two frequency domain resources, and selects at least two reference signal resources from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to the at least two frequency domain resources, where the at least two selected reference signal resources are reference signal resources corresponding to at least two different frequency domain resources. In other words, some of the at least two reference signal resources are selected from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to one frequency domain resource, and other reference signal resources are selected from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to another frequency domain resource. In this way, the terminal can simultaneously receive data sent by a network device by using reference signal resources corresponding to different frequency domain resources, thereby improving communication efficiency.

Resource management method and apparatus

This disclosure provides methods and apparatuses for repeated transmissions. One method includes: determining, by a terminal device, a plurality of receive beams to be used by a terminal device for receiving at least two transmissions of a transport block; and receiving, by the terminal device, the at least two transmissions of the transport block by using the plurality of receive beams determined by the terminal device.
