This application provides a signal processing method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: if it is detected that at least one signal feature of each carrier signal in a first combined signal changes, determining, based on the signal feature of each carrier signal, a first clipping noise power corresponding to each carrier signal; and performing clipping on each carrier signal based on the first clipping noise power corresponding to each carrier signal. The signal feature includes one or more of a power, a bandwidth, a frequency, a power spectral density, or a modulation scheme. According to this method, clipping processing is performed on each carrier signal, to reduce a PAPR in an OFDM system. In addition, when the signal feature of each carrier signal changes, an access network device may determine a clipping noise power of each carrier signal based on a changed signal feature of each carrier signal.

Signal processing method and communication apparatus

This application provides a downlink transmitting system and a switching method. An example downlink transmitting system includes at least one digital intermediate frequency module group, at least one Tx port group, a plurality of power amplifiers (PAs), at least one switching switch, and an antenna array. The plurality of PAs are connected to the antenna array. The plurality of PAs are connected to all Tx ports included in the downlink transmitting system in a one-to-one correspondence. The at least one digital intermediate frequency module group is in a one-to-one correspondence with the at least one Tx port group. Each of the at least one Tx port group is connected to each digital intermediate frequency module in a corresponding digital intermediate frequency module group through one of the at least one switching switch. The each of the at least one Tx port group includes a plurality of Tx ports.

Downlink transmitting system and switching method

A method for obtaining information about a channel and a related apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining first feedback signals from a passive inter-modulation source; obtaining first update direction information based on the first feedback signals; and obtaining information about a channel with the passive inter-modulation source based on the first update direction information. According to the method and the apparatus, complexity of obtaining the information about the channel with the passive inter-modulation source can be reduced, time and power consumption required for obtaining the information about the channel can be reduced, and accuracy of the information about the channel can be improved.
