A connecting assembly for connecting two structures of an aircraft, the connecting assembly including a central element featuring a through-hole, preferably a bore, configured to make a connection with one of the two structures by virtue of a fastener element including a shank inserted into the through-hole. The connecting assembly further includes a plurality of shock-absorbing elements made from a deformable material. Each of the shock-absorbing elements are, on the one hand, secured to the central element and, on the other hand, configured to bear against a surface of the other of the two structures. An aircraft part includes such a connecting assembly.

An aircraft including a main landing gear compartment which comprises a rear transverse wall, and a base wall forming a sealed barrier between a first, pressurized area and a second, non-pressurized area. The main landing gear compartment includes a body, produced in a single piece from composite material, separating the first, pressurized area and the second, non-pressurized area. The body includes a first part corresponding to the base wall, as well as a second part corresponding to the rear transverse wall. At least two longitudinal beams made of composite material, are connected to the body. This single body makes it possible to eliminate a large number of parts, to simplify the assembly process, and to reduce the duration thereof.

A retractable fuselage mounted landing gear assembly is disclosed. The landing gear assembly includes a main strut, a drag stay and a landing gear main fitting. A first end of the drag stay is attached to the main strut and a second end of the drag stay is connected to the fuselage. A first end of the landing main fitting is attached to the main strut and a second end of the main fitting is connected to the fuselage. When the landing gear is extended, substantially all the landing gear loads are transferred from the landing gear to the fuselage via one or more of the drag stay and the main fitting.
