A signal processing method, and a transmitter and a receiver are disclosed. The signal processing method may include converting a transmission signal to a non-periodic sequence type transmission signal using periodic sequences and transmitting the non-periodic sequence type transmission signal to the receiver, in which the receiver may detect a burst from the received non-periodic sequence type transmission signal.

Provided is a data transmitting and receiving apparatus that may process a signal to be transmitted using a faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) method. The data transmitting and receiving apparatus may perform low-density parity-check (LDPC) encoding on data to be transmitted using a first matrix having a first degree based on a preset reference and a second matrix having a single diagonal matrix structure, independently perform interleaving and symbol mapping on each of an information bit and a parity bit of the data, accelerate an output signal by a transmission rate based on the FTN method, and transmit the data.

Method for calibrating a linearizer and linearized electronic component the method comprises predistortion, in a predistortion linearizer, of a signal upstream of an electronic component to compensate nonlinear distortion. Determining predistortion setting parameters comprises applying a bifrequency test signal to the component and measuring the relative amplitudes of the lines at the output of the component. A variable indicative of the magnitude |Kp| of the AM/PM conversion coefficient of the component is calculated on the basis of these measurements. The predistortion setting parameters are adjusted so as to minimize |Kp|. The method may in particular be implemented in a linearized amplifier device and in an amplifier test bench.

A technology for modulating and demodulating a burst signal in a return link of a satellite system, in which the burst signal is modulated and transmitted from a transmission end of the return link and a symbol of the burst signal is identified and demodulated at a receiving end.
