A windscreen wiper device comprising an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, a connecting device, a mounting head, and a longitudinal strip-shaped arm. The wiper blade is adapted to be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The wiper blade includes at least one groove in which an elastic, elongated carrier element is disposed. The connecting device is connected to the wiper blade. The mounting head transfers a reciprocal movement to the wiper blade. The longitudinal strip-shaped arm has a first end detachably connected to the mounting head through a snapping operation and a second end detachably connected to the connecting device through a snapping operation. The arm is made of a resilient material and is biased to exert a pressure onto the wiper blade towards the windscreen to be wiped.

Windscreen wiper device

A windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type having an elastic, elongated carrier element and an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, adapted to be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal slit, in which at least one longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed. The windscreen wiper device comprises an oscillating arm having a rod-like extension, a connecting device and a nozzle for spraying a washing liquid onto the windscreen to be wiped. The connecting device includes a channel adapted to receive a free end of the rod-like extension. The nozzle is adapted to be mounted onto the rod-like extension. The nozzle and the connecting device are provided with mutually cooperating protrusion/groove means for locking the nozzle onto the connecting device upon insertion of the free end of the rod-like extension inside the channel of the connecting device.

A windscreen wiper device is provided comprising an elastic, elongated carrier element, and an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material. The wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal groove, in which a longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed. The windscreen wiper device comprises a connecting device for an oscillating arm that can be pivotally connected to the connecting device, about a pivot axis near one end, with the interposition of a joint part. The joint part is locked onto said oscillating arm and at least one laterally inwardly extending protrusion provided on the oscillating arm is snapped behind a wall of the joint part. The joint part is unlocked from the oscillating arm. The wall of the joint part is allowed to bend laterally inwardly in order to release the protrusion of the oscillating arm from the wall.

A windscreen wiper arm, particularly for automobiles, that is able to oscillate upwardly and downwardly between a downward position and an upward position. The windscreen wiper arm comprises a wiper arm member having a substantially U-shaped cross-section, as well as a wiper rod. The wiper arm member at one end is adapted to be pivotally connected to a mounting head mounted on a drive shaft. The wiper arm member at another end is rigidly connected to the wiper rod. The wiper rod at one end extends inside the U-shaped cross-section of the wiper arm member, and the wiper rod at another end is rigidly connected to an adapter adapted to be connected to an elongated wiper blade to be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The adapter, at the location of its connection to the wiper blade, has a U-shaped cross-section with a base and two spaced-apart legs. The U-shaped cross-section is mounted offset in a plane of the base relative to a longitudinal axis of the wiper rod. The windscreen wiper arm is provided with a nozzle for spraying a washing liquid onto the windscreen to be wiped. The nozzle is detachably connected to the adapter at a lateral side of the windscreen wiper arm facing towards the upward position.

Windscreen wiper arm, particularly for automobiles

A windscreen wiper arm, particularly for automobiles, that is able to oscillate upwardly and downwardly between a downward position and an upward position. One end of the windscreen wiper arm is adapted to be pivotally connected to a mounting head mounted on a drive shaft. Another end of the windscreen wiper arm is rigidly connected to an adapter adapted to be connected to an elongated wiper blade to be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The adapter, at the location of its connection to the wiper blade, has a U-shaped cross-section with a base and two spaced-apart legs. The U-shaped cross-section is preferably mounted offset in a plane of the base relative to a longitudinal axis of the windscreen wiper arm. The windscreen wiper arm is provided with a nozzle for spraying a washing liquid onto the windscreen to be wiped. The nozzle is detachably connected to the adapter through a key hole connection.

A windscreen wiper device, particularly for automobiles, comprises an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped, which wiper blade is of the flat blade type and includes at least one groove, in which groove an elastic, elongated carrier element is disposed, wherein the windscreen wiper device further comprises a mounting head for transferring a reciprocal movement to the wiper blade, with the special feature that the windscreen wiper device further comprises a longitudinal strip-shaped arm, wherein the arm near a first end thereof is directly connected to the mounting head and near a second end thereof is directly connected to a connecting device of the wiper blade, and wherein the arm made of a resilient material is biased in order to exert a pressure onto the wiper blade towards the windscreen to be wiped.

A windscreen wiper arm, particularly for automobiles, that is able to oscillate upwardly and downwardly between a downward position and an upward position. One end of the windscreen wiper arm is adapted to be pivotally connected to a mounting head mounted on a drive shaft. Another end of the windscreen wiper arm is rigidly connected to an adapter adapted to be connected to an elongated wiper blade to be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. A joint part is adapted to be interposed between the adapter and the elongated wiper blade. The adapter, at the location of its connection to the wiper blade, has a U-shaped cross-section with a base and two spaced-apart legs. The windscreen wiper arm is provided with a nozzle for spraying a washing liquid onto the windscreen to be wiped. The nozzle is detachably connected to the adapter. At least one protrusion of the nozzle engages into a corresponding hole in one of the legs of the U-shaped cross-section of the adapter. The protrusion extends inwardly in a direction towards the adapter. The protrusion has a shank passing through the hole, and an enlarged head abutting an inner wall of the leg provided with the hole. The joint part is provided with a slit in which the enlarged head rests for blocking any movement of the protrusion in a direction towards the windscreen to be wiped and in a direction away from the windscreen to be wiped.

A connecting device () is provided for interconnecting a windscreen wiper device () of the flat blade type and an oscillating arm () pivotally connectable to the connecting device about a pivot axis near one end thereof. The windscreen wiper device includes an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade () of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The wiper blade includes at least one groove (), in which groove a longitudinal strip () of the carrier element is disposed. The connecting device is arranged to be connected to the longitudinal strip, and includes&#x2014;at least one hole () of a first type arranged to allow a welding tool access through the hole of the first type to contact the longitudinal strip for welding the longitudinal strip and the connecting device together; and&#x2014;at least one hole () of a second type arranged to allow a pin access through the hole of the second type and through the longitudinal strip for interconnecting the longitudinal strip and the connecting device.

A windscreen wiper device comprising an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped, which wiper blade includes opposing longitudinal grooves on its longitudinal sides, in which grooves spaced-apart longitudinal strips of the carrier element are disposed, wherein neighbouring ends of the longitudinal strips are interconnected by a respective connecting piece, which windscreen wiper device comprises a connecting device for an oscillating arm, wherein the oscillating arm is pivotally connected to the connecting device about a pivot axis near one end, with the interposition of a joint part, with the special feature that the joint part is detachable connected to the connecting device by engaging protrusions of the connecting device, at the location of the pivot axis, in recesses provided in the joint part, and wherein the protrusions are provided with co-axial through holes.

A windscreen wiper device is provided including a longitudinally extending wiper strip of a flexible material. At least one carrier of a spring-like material operatively supports and biases the wiper strip into a predetermined configuration. The windscreen wiper device further includes a connecting device for connection with a wiper arm. At least a portion of the wiper strip has a microtextured surface formed directly into the flexible material. The microtextured surface may be on, for example, any one of or any combination of a wiping portion, a channel, a hinge portion and a spoiler portion of the wiper strip.

A windscreen wiper device () of the flat blade type, particularly for automobiles, includes an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade () of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal groove (), in which groove at least one longitudinal strip () of the carrier element is disposed. A connecting device () is connected to the flexible material of the wiper blade by at least one pin (), that cooperates with a recess () provided along an exterior edge of the longitudinal strip in order to limit any movement of the wiper blade in longitudinal direction thereof relative to the longitudinal strip at the location of the interconnection of the connecting device and the wiper blade. The connecting device has a substantially U-shaped cross-section, wherein free ends of legs () of the U-shaped cross-section extend inwardly so as to form grooves for receiving longitudinal sides of the wiper blade. At least one of the legs is provided with a hole () for receiving the pin, with the special feature that the pin is glued to an inner wall () of the hole or the pin is form-locked inside the hole.

A windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type, particularly for automobiles, comprising an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade of the flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped, which wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal groove, in which groove at least one longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed, which windscreen wiper device comprises a connecting device for an oscillating arm, wherein said oscillating arm can be pivotally connected to the connecting device about ta pivot axis near one end thereof. The connecting device is connected to the wiper blade at at least two location spaced-apart in the longitudinal direction of said wiper blade in order to evenly distribute a force exerted by the oscillating arm onto the wiper blade.
