A filter cassette for a vacuum cleaner appliance positionable in the vacuum cleaner appliance in an airflow drawn in by the vacuum cleaner appliance, wherein the filter cassette contains substantially a lateral surface, an upper opening, and a lower opening, such that the drawn-in airflow, in order to filter out dirt particles, can flow into the filter cassette through the lower opening and out of the filter cassette through the upper opening. A first sealing element extends in a first plane and the a second sealing element extends in a second plane, and wherein the first and second planes are arranged at an acute angle to one another, such that the second sealing element is oriented substantially horizontally when the filter cassette is positioned in a filter cassette receptacle accessible from outside the vacuum cleaner appliance. A method for controlling a clearing process in a vacuum cleaning device, wherein the vacuum cleaning device comprises at least one filter, which is cleared regularly. The method includes operating the vacuum cleaning appliance to suck in the air stream through the filter element; determining a first pressure reference value; measuring the pressure difference between the first and second pressure values; dedusting the filter element with the aid of the filter element cleaning device if the value of the pressure difference between the first and second pressure values reaches a first threshold value; determining a second pressure reference value after the end of the dedusting of the filter element; determining a difference value between the second and first pressure reference values; and dedusting the filter element if the difference value between the second and first pressure reference values reaches a second threshold value, or switching off the vacuum cleaning appliance if the difference value between the second and first pressure reference values reaches a third threshold value. The includes components that are configured in a manner corresponding to one another, wherein the components of the device that are configured in a manner corresponding to one another include an open structure, wherein the open structure is designed to effect pressure equalization between a first region and a second region of the collecting tank. Within the meaning of the invention, it is preferred for the proposed device to include a punch and a die, wherein the punch is arranged in the suction head and the die is arranged in the collecting tank. A dust hood for a power tool, wherein the dust hood includes an extraction region in which a suction hose coming from a dust-sucking device opens into the dust hood. The dust hood has a curvature in the extraction region, wherein the curvature makes it possible for an impulse surge which is generated within a filter cleaning operation of a dust-sucking device to be attenuated by reflection.
