The invention relates to a method for shaping an essentially flat-surfaced blank () to form a shell body (), comprising the following steps: forming at least one flat-surfaced, buckling-stable insert () which is adapted to form, dimension and deformation properties of the flat-surfaced blank (); forming a blank () to be deformed and at least one buckling-stable insert (&#x2033;) to be deformed from the flat-surfaced blank (') and the at least one flat-surfaced buckling-stable insert (&#x2032;); placing and clamping the blank () to be deformed and the at least one buckling-stable insert (&#x2033;) relative to one another and deforming the blank () together with the at least one buckling-stable insert (&#x2033;) to be deformed in order to form the shell body, using at least one forming tool () that acts upon the front or inner side () of the blank () to be deformed or the at least one insert () to be deformed which is provided as a support. The invention also relates to the use of said shell body () to produce rotationally symmetric and/or not rotationally symmetric shell-shaped components.

Method for shaping an essentially flat-surfaced blank to form a shell body and use thereof

The present invention relates to a high-pressure tank made from fiber-reinforced plastic for, in particular, gaseous media, wherein, on its inner wall, the tank is equipped completely or partially with a substantially permeation-tight foil made of metal, wherein the metal has a high elastic range and a low thermal expansion coefficient, and the foil has a thickness of &#x2266;0.5 mm. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing tanks of this type.

Method and device for forming an essentially flat metal blank to produce a thin-walled, shell-type body, and the use of same

Heat exchangers which, through convection or radiation, are designed to absorb varyingly high energy flow about the circumference of their heat transmission walls. The cross-sectional area of the heat exchanger is subdivided into two or more flow passageways by means of inserts in such a manner, that the temperature differences and thermal stresses in the wall resulting from the high differing energy densities are reduced or even prevented. Achieved hereby is an extensively balanced temperature about the circumference of the heat exchanger wall so as to eliminate injurious thermal stresses.
