An exemplary electronic device includes a mother board, a power source, and a power extending board detachably connected between the power source and the motherboard. The power source includes a golden finger interface. The power extending board includes a receiving socket, a first conversion circuit, and a first connector. The golden finger interface is plugged into the receiving socket. The first conversion circuit is connected to the receiving socket, converts first and second voltages from the power source into third and fourth voltages, and outputs the first, third, and fourth voltages to the motherboard.

A debugging circuit comprises a debugging interface, a switch unit coupled to the debugging interface, a controller coupled to the switch unit, a platform controller hub (PCH), and a central processing unit (CPU). The PCH and the CPU are coupled to the switch unit. The debugging interface is coupled between the switch unit and a debugging device. The switch unit receives a control signal from the controller, and selectively outputs a first data signal from the PCH or a second data signal from the CPU to the debugging device through the debugging interface according to the control signal.

Debugging circuit

A secure switch module to allow only authorized keyholders to power on an electronic device includes a lock, a key matching the lock, and a power switch. The lock includes a first lock pin electrically connected to a ground pin of a motherboard of the electronic device, and a second lock pin. The power switch includes a button, a first elastic conductive sheet electrically connected to the second lock pin, and a second elastic conductive sheet electrically connected to a power on pin of the motherboard. When the key is engaged with the lock and the button is pressed, the first lock pin is electrically connected to the second lock pin, the first elastic conductive sheet is electrically connected to the second elastic conductive sheet, the power on pin receives a low level signal, and the electronic device is turned on.

A motherboard assembly includes a serial advanced technology attachment dual-in-line memory module (SATA DIMM) with a circuit board, a memory slot, a platform controller hub (PCH), a storage device interface, and a storage controller connected to the PCH and the storage device interface. An edge connector is set on a bottom edge of the circuit board. A port is arranged on the circuit board, and connected to the storage chips and the storage device interface, enabling a motherboard to communicate with the SATA DIMM module.
