The present invention provides a novel adaptive power configuration method and corresponding base stations in a Het Net. According to the present invention, some specific subframes of a serving base station are scheduled to serve victim UEs, while the corresponding subframes of an aggressor base station can be scheduled to serve its UEs with adaptively adjusting the transmit power instead of thoroughly muting. This adaptive power configuration scheme can efficiently reduce the interference in Het Nets to guarantee the workability of victim UEs, meanwhile more capacity performance gain can be achieved with backward compatibility to legacy UEs.

Adaptive power configuration method and corresponding base stations in a HetNet

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for data transmission in a communication network. In the present invention, additional frequency spectrum resources in an assistant wireless network are introduced by constructing emulation data channels for use by a user equipment in a cellular network, thereby expanding the resources in the cellular network and enhancing throughput of the cellular network. In addition, the original control channels between the base station and the user equipment in the cellular network are maintained, enabling the user equipment to have the quality of service QoS in the cellular network when using the assistant wireless network to transmit data, and sparing the user equipment from handover operations in establishing or releasing the emulation data channels, thereby complicated network control and management mechanisms used for the handover are not needed and thus the user experience is further enhanced. Moreover, it is relatively easy to be implemented and cost efficient.

Method and apparatus for data transmission in communication network

To address the problem of inter-cell interference, the present invention proposes a method for inter-cell interference coordination and a device thereof. In one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a method of coordinating radio resource in a base station of wireless communication network, comprising the steps of: Sdetermining whether a UE is of interference risk; if the UE is of interference risk, then Sdetermining key interference source base station(s) of the UE; S, scheduling radio resource in collaboration with the key interference source base station(s), so that the key interference source base station(s) idle(s) the radio resource assigned to the UE by the base station. With the method and device provided in the present invention, effective avoidance of inter-cell interference may be achieved, and every cell may fully reuse resource to accomplish reuse gain, while UE backward compatibility may also be supported.

Method and device for inter-cell interference coordination

The present invention provides a method and a device for adjusting the sleep mode of a mobile station in order to solve the problem in current multi-hop relay systems of long time delays in data transmission caused when data packets have to wait for the next listening window to reach the mobile station because of packet errors. Wherein, a relay apparatus judges whether the previous hop network apparatus needs to retransmit data packets to the mobile station; when the previous hop network apparatus needs to retransmit data packets to the mobile station, the relay apparatus transmits to the mobile station the adjustment related information for adjusting the sleep mode of the mobile station. The mobile station adjusts the sleep mode according to the adjustment related information. Preferably, the adjustment related information comprises indicating information for indicating that the mobile station is in triggered listening status within predetermined time interval. In addition, the relay apparatus may also report the adjustment related information to the previous hop network apparatus. The technical solution provided by the present invention obtains shorter time delays, utilizes wireless resources efficiently, and decreases demand on relay apparatus.

Method and device for adjusting sleep mode of mobile station

The present invention discloses a method of requesting resource from a resource allocating apparatus by a request requesting apparatus, a resource allocating apparatus, a resource requesting apparatus and a communication system. The method comprises the following steps: sending a resource request message from the resource requesting apparatus to the resource allocating apparatus; after receiving the resource request message, if resource cannot be allocated within a set time interval with respect to the resource requesting apparatus, sending an acknowledgement for the resource request message from the resource allocating apparatus to the resource requesting apparatus; and if the resource is allocated to the resource requesting apparatus within the set time interval, not sending the acknowledgement for the resource request message from the resource allocating apparatus to the resource requesting apparatus. Utilizing the method and structure of the present invention, the resource allocating apparatus sends additional acknowledgement message only if needed, therefore overhead is reduced much more. Moreover, since the solution of the present invention does not change any signaling exchanged between the resource allocating apparatus and the resource requesting apparatus, it is able to meet the requirement of backward compatibility.

A relay method and device, wherein the control signal and the data signal which are in the same subframe are directly sent to a lower level device respectively by an upper level device and a relay function device. In one example, the relay function device transmits data signal using subscriber special reference signal to make the lower level device estimate an access channel correctly; in another example, the relay function device carries out precoding of the data signal correlative with the access channel so as to cancel the influence of the access channel, thereby make the lower level device receive data signal correctly. The present invention provides a network access method and system for Machine Type Communications (MTC), wherein the method comprises the following steps: an MTC device sends a preamble to a base station; the base station sends a Random Access Response (RAR) to the MTC device; if the RAR does not contain a temporary access resource assignment indication, the MTC device sends a Layer 2/Layer 3 message to the base station; otherwise, the MTC device re-attempts to perform network access; the base station sends a contention resolution message to the MTC device; if the contention resolution message contains a self-identification contained in the Layer 2/Layer 3 message sent by the MTC device, the network access is completed; if the contention resolution message contains the temporary access resource assignment indication, the MTC device re-attempts to perform the network access; otherwise, the MTC device attempts to perform the network access using the originally used access resource again. According to the present invention, it is enabled to dynamically and quickly perform assignment and release of MTC access resources based on actual access resource collisions, which thereby avoids waste of uplink resources in a semi-static configuration, reduces the possibility of collision, and protects normal access of non-MTC devices.

The method comprises the steps of: encoding the audio/video content data into a basic stream having a first level of quality and an advanced stream, combination of the basic stream and the advanced stream has a second level of quality higher than the first level of quality; and transmitting the basic stream and the advanced stream with a first power and a second power lower than the first power on antennas, respectively. With the method and apparatus of the invention, the low SINR users are able to maintain the low data rate receiving the basic stream and the high SINR user can receive both the basic stream and advanced stream from two logical channels.
