A method and device of fingerprint image generation for saving memory. The method includes generating a first fingerprint image of an original data size according to a plurality of first analog sensing signals which are read from a fingerprint sensor array before an exposure period ends. Then the first fingerprint image represented by a first data size which is equivalent to or smaller than the original data size is stored. a second fingerprint image of the original data size is generated after generating the first fingerprint image of the original data size according to a plurality of second analog sensing signals which are read from the fingerprint sensor array during the exposure period. The second fingerprint image represented by a compressed data size smaller than the original data size is then stored.

Fingerprint image generation method and device for saving memory

An integrated driving device is provided. The integrated driving device includes a touch sensing circuit and an optical sensing circuit. The touch sensing circuit is configured to perform touch sensing in a plurality of touch sensing periods during a first frame period. The optical sensing circuit is configured to perform optical sensing during at least one optical sensing period during the first frame period to obtain optical sensing signals for generating first ambient light information. The touch sensing periods and the optical sensing period are non-overlapping. Correspondingly, an operation method of an integrated driving device is also provided.

A chip, an electronic device, a panel and an operation method thereof are provided. The chip can control the panel to perform fingerprint sensing. Fingerprint sensing pixels of the panel are divided into a plurality of fingerprint zones along a column direction. The chip includes a selecting circuit and a control circuit. The selecting circuit obtains information about a selected fingerprint zone among the fingerprint zones. The control circuit provides multiple control signals for controlling the panel to perform fingerprint sensing. The control signals include multiple start pulse signals. The start pulse signals collectively indicate the selected fingerprint zone. The number of the fingerprint zones is greater than the number of the start pulse signals.

The present invention provides a method of a control circuit for controlling a fingerprint sensing operation of a display panel. The fingerprint sensing operation includes a reset operation, an exposure operation and a sample operation. The method includes steps of: performing the reset operation, the exposure operation and the sample operation of a fingerprint sensing cycle during a display frame interval in which a polarity of display data voltage on the display panel remains unchanged; and adjusting an exposure time of the exposure operation to be within the display frame interval.

A method of sensing an image from a panel for an image sensing circuit includes the steps of: transmitting a first voltage or current to the panel; receiving a plurality of sensing signals from the panel, wherein the plurality of sensing signals correspond to the first voltage or current; determining whether the plurality of sensing signals conform to an operation range of the image sensing circuit; and adjusting the first voltage or current when the plurality of sensing signals are determined to be not conform to the operation range of the image sensing circuit.

Image sensing method and system

A fingerprint sensing device comprises a plurality of sensing pads, a plurality of data lines, a shielding layer, and a plurality of auxiliary voltage lines. The data lines are separately and electrically connected to the sensing pads, and configured to provide a sensing voltage to the sensing pads. The shielding layer is disposed between the sensing pad and the data lines. The auxiliary voltage lines are separately and electrically connected to the sensing pads, configured to provide an auxiliary voltage to the sensing pads. The auxiliary voltage is different from the sensing voltage. When a first sensing pad receives the sensing voltage, a second sensing pad adjacent to the first sensing pad receives the auxiliary voltage.

Fingerprint sensing device

A sensing method of a fingerprint sensor is provided. The fingerprint sensor includes a plurality of sensing pixels arranged in an array, and the sensing pixels respectively have a sensing electrode. The sensing method includes following steps. A required resolution of an identification requirement is determined; here, the identification requirement is received by the fingerprint sensor. If the number of pixels of the required resolution is less than or equal to the number of the sensing pixels, self-capacitance sensing is performed on the sensing pixels to provide a first fingerprint pattern. If the number of pixels of the required resolution is greater than the number of the sensing pixels, the self-capacitance sensing and mutual capacitance sensing are performed on the sensing pixels to provide a second fingerprint pattern.

Sensing method of fingerprint sensor

A touch sensing circuit and its control method is disclosed herein. The touch sensing circuit includes a plurality of detecting units. The detecting units are arranged in an array, in which each detecting unit includes a sensing pad, a first switch and a second switch. The first switch is configured to selectively conduct the sensing pad and one of a plurality of signal lines. The second switch is configured to selectively conduct two adjacent sensing pads. When the first switches in a first row in the array are on, the sensing pads in the first row are configured to output detecting signals to the signal lines according to a driving signal, and the second switches in a second row adjacent to the first row are on to conduct the sensing pads in the second row to receive and transmit the driving signal together.
