The latching flange forms at least one resisting surface.

Cable connector terminal module and method for making the same

An exemplary cable connector includes a terminal module, a latching flange, and a housing. The terminal module includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and an insulator. The first terminal and the second terminal are insulated by the insulator. The latching flange is fixed on an outer surface of the terminal module. The housing is fixed on a periphery of the terminal module. The latching flange forms at least one resisting surface. An inner surface of the housing defines a latching groove corresponding to the latching flange. The latching groove forms at least one resisting surface corresponding to the at least one resisting surface of the latching flange. The latching flange is latched in the latching groove.

Cable connector and method of making the same

An exemplary terminal module of a cable connector includes a first terminal, a second terminal positioned in the first terminal, an insulator positioned between the first terminal and the second terminal for insulating the first and second terminals from each other, and a latching flange disposed on an outer surface of the first terminal. The latching flange forms at least one resisting surface.

An exemplary cable connector plug () includes a first contact (). The first contact includes a contact portion () and an extension portion () extending from the contact portion along an axis of the cable connector plug. The extension portion includes a first columnar portion (), a neck portion () and a second columnar portion (). The neck portion interconnects the first columnar portion and the second columnar portion. A periphery of a junction where the neck portion connects with the second columnar portion is curved from a point of the periphery distal from the second columnar portion to a point of the periphery distal from the neck portion. The cable connector plug has a relatively good mechanical strength and durability.

An exemplary cable connector includes a housing, a terminal module including a first terminal and a second terminal, a printed circuit board fixed in the housing, and a cable including a first core and a second core. The terminal module is detachably assembled in a first end of the housing, and the first and second terminals are contacting the printed circuit board. The cable is fixed in a second end of the housing, and the first and the second cores of the cable are welded to the printed circuit board. The first and second terminals are electrically communicating with the first and second cores via the printed circuit board.

An exemplary cable connector plug () includes a contact () and an insulator (). The first contact includes a contact portion () and an extension portion () extending from the contact portion along an axis of the cable connector plug. The first contact further includes a hooking portion () provided at the extension portion. The insulator surrounds the hooking portion, and is lockingly engaged with the hooking portion such that when the extension portion is moved along an axis of the cable connector plug, the first insulator correspondingly moves in unison with the extension portion. The cable connector plug has good mechanical strength and stability.

A combined bearing includes a main body () and a mating member (). The main body is generally cylindrical, with an axial hole () and a cutout () defined therein. The cutout is generally semi-cylindrical and spans from an outer surface () of the main body to the axial hole of the main body. The mating member has a same configuration as the cutout of the main body and can be inserted into the cutout to provide a complete cylinder having the axial hole therein. The main body and the mating member are made of different materials, one is metal alloy which is capable of impregnating lubricant oil therein, the other is ceramic having high hardness. Thus, the combined bearing may combine the advantages of an oil impregnated bearing and the advantages of a ceramic bearing.

A ceramic cutting tool () is for high speed cutting of light, thin and soft materials. The ceramic cutting tool includes an upper blade () and a lower blade () both made of ceramic material. The upper and lower blades therefore possess extremely high hardness, and excellent wear resistance and heat resistance. This increases an operating lifetime of the ceramic cutting tool. Furthermore, the lower blade can alternatively be a lower blade assembly (). The lower blade assembly includes a metal base (), and a ceramic edge insert () detachably mounted in the metal base. If the ceramic edge insert becomes worn or is damaged, it can be easily replaced by a new ceramic edge insert. There is no need to replace the metal base.
