A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more processor-executable instructions wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by a processor of a controller, cause acts to be performed including receiving signals representative of pressure between respective compressor blade tips and a casing of a compressor at one or more stages, generating multiple patterns based on a permutation entropy window and the signals, identifying multiple pattern categories in the multiple patterns, determining a permutation entropy based on the multiple patterns and the multiple pattern categories, predicting an anomaly in the compressor based on the permutation entropy, comparing the multiple pattern categories to determined permutations of pattern categories when an anomaly is present in the compressor, and predicting a category of the anomaly based on the comparison of the multiple pattern categories to the determined permutation of pattern categories.

Systems and methods for compressor anomaly prediction

Various methods and systems are provided for detecting a change in turbocharger performance. In one example, a method comprises determining a level of turbocharger imbalance based on output from a turbine speed sensor and generating a signal related to a change in a performance level of the turbocharger if the level of turbocharger imbalance is greater than a threshold.

The arrangement also includes one or more response detectors coupled to the plurality of transducers and configured to measure a response of the object at the plurality of transducers to the excitation applied by the plurality of transducers based on the excitation signals. The arrangement additionally includes a soft-field reconstruction module configured to reconstruct a property distribution based on the excitation signals and the measured response.

A system and method for soft-field reconstruction are provided. One method includes obtaining applied input and measured output information for an excited object using a plurality of transducers and forming an admittance matrix based on the applied input and measured output information. The method also includes determining a plurality of moments using the admittance matrix and calculating a property distribution of the excited object using the plurality of moments.

One embodiment includes electrodes arranged along a three-dimensional helical path to provide one or more helical arrays and circuitry to measure signals for calculating a conductivity or admittivity distribution representative of the interior of the structure. System and method for performing electrical impedance tomography

A method for determining characteristics of a multi-material object is provided. The method includes producing a rotating electric field by providing an applied electrical signal set of individual electrical signal patterns to electrodes surrounding the multi-material object. The method also includes obtaining a measured electrical signal of electrical signals from the electrodes corresponding to each electrical signal pattern applied. An electrical network is determined based on the applied electrical signal set, the measured electrical signal set and an inverse of the applied electrical signal set. The method further includes determining the characteristics of the multi-material object by analyzing the electrical network.

The electric element matrix is pre-multiplied by a first mathematical transformation matrix to obtain a first transformed electric element matrix.
