A lighting device () comprising a substrate (), a plurality of light sources (), and a housing () of a light transmissive material. The substrate has a first side () and a second side () and the plurality of light sources are arranged on the first side of the substrate. The light sources have a common general output direction. The housing is arranged to transmit light surrounding the substrate, having a first portion () of said housing and a second portion () of the housing arranged substantially opposite the first portion with respect to the substrate. The plurality of first optical elements () may be arranged substantially opposite the output direction of the plurality of light sources along the first portion of the housing facing the first side of the substrate. The substrate is adapted to allow transmission of light. The plurality of first optical elements are arranged to transmit part of the light emitted by the light sources and reflect part of the light emitted by the light sources through the substrate towards the second portion of the housing.

Lighting device

A body illumination device adapted to surround at least a part of a user including at least one inflatable structural element and a light emitter. The at least one inflatable structural element includes a first inflatable structural element including a first inflatable chamber including a first wall and a second wall which is transparent to the light emitted by the light emitter such that light can be is provided to the user from the light emitter through the second wall. The light emitter is on or integrally formed with said first wall and is for providing light to the user. The body illumination device may be stored easily in a deflated state and may be used in the treatment of psoriasis, eczema or skin cancer.

Lamp base allowing for electrical contact in various rotational positions

A light-emitting device includes a plurality of light-emitting elements or light sources and a flexible pad for positioning and conforming the light-emitting device to a portion of a body of a user. The flexible pad includes a three-dimensional structure having a plurality of protrusions for contacting a skin of the portion of the body when the light-emitting device is applied to the portion of the body by the flexible pad. Further, the three-dimensional structure includes a plurality of recesses for creating a clearance between the skin and the flexible pad when the light-emitting device is applied to the portion of the body, and a plurality of apertures for engaging with the plurality of light-emitting elements. Each protrusion includes an extended part and a withdrawn part, where the extended part is further extended than the withdrawn part, and the extended part is configured to contact the skin.

Releasable optical element

An LED package including a collimator body adapted to collect and/or reflect and/or focus light. An upper plane provided by the collimator body defines a mainly horizontal plane. At least one reflection surface is provided by the collimator body and is at least partially angled to the horizontal plane. The collimator body includes a recess for receiving a lighting element including a light emitting front face such that the reflection surface extends at least partially below the level of the front face in an assembled state. Due to the angle of the reflection surface with respect to the horizontal plane of the collimator body, a small light source and a high luminous flux at the same time are provided so that the luminance and the brightness of the LED package are increased.

Collimator

The invention relates to a motor vehicle lighting fixture which comprises at least: a light source comprising at least one LED; a light-transmitting part that is arranged such that it receives light from the light source; and a reflector that is arranged such that it reflects that portion of the light from the light source that passes through the light-transmitting part and couples it out to the front of the lighting fixture, a reflection portion and a refraction portion being provided within the light-transmitting part, wherein said reflection portion deflects the light issuing from the light source through total reflection in one direction that is substantially perpendicular to the optical axis of the reflector, whereas the refraction portion couples out the light in the direction of the reflector.

Vehicle light

It is provided a lamp assembly () for an automotive headlamp, comprising an LED () for emitting light rays, a housing (), to which the LED () is detachably connectable, wherein the housing () comprises an entrance window () assigned to the LED (), and a guiding element () for guiding the light rays passing through the entrance window (), wherein the guiding element () is connected to the housing (). Since the LED () is detachable connected to the housing () a defect LED () can by exchanged by only exchanging the LED () itself without exchanging the whole lamp assembly () including the housing () and the guiding element (). Since the correct position of the bright/dark-cutoff may be provided by the entrance window () and/or the guiding element () only, a misalignment of a newly inserted LED () does not affect the correct position of the bright/dark-cutoff. The exchange of a LED () is facilitated and without affecting the correct position of the bright/dark-cutoff.

Lamp assembly

A lamp assembly () comprises at least a light source () and a reflector for reflecting light from the light source (). The reflector is positionable with respect to the light source () in at least a first position and a second position to obtain a spot-like light emission in the first position and a more or less omnidirectional light emission, in the second position, of the light emitted by the lamp assembly (). The lamp assembly () comprises a reflective layer (). In the first position of the reflector at least part of the light is reflected by the reflector as well as by the reflective layer (). In the second position of the reflector at least part of the light is reflected by the reflector and passes along the reflective layer ().

An integrated reflector lamp () comprising an outer wall () enclosing a light source (), a metal reflector (), and an electronic power supply unit () to which the light source () is connected, wherein the reflector () extends between the light source () and the electronic power supply unit (). Said outer wall () comprises a substantially conical portion () and a transparent portion () that covers the opening of said conical portion (). The reflector () also covers the opening of said conical portion (). The reflector () and the transparent portion () enclose the light source (), the reflector () and the conical portion () enclose the electronic power supply unit ().

Integrated reflector lamp

A lamp fixation system for fixing an electric lamp in a reflector housing in an efficient and effective way. The lamp is positioned in a predetermined position to ensure a reliable electrical power supply. The predetermined position is effected via a cap of the electric lamp which is clamped in a hole in the reflector housing. The cap is provided with spring means for pushing against a surface at the inner wall of the hole in the reflector housing. The spring means comprises a first electrical contact for abutting against an electrical contact in the surface to ensure reliable electric power.
