Cognitive assistants which use feedback to highlight relevant points of interest to a user so that recommendations can be provided to the user based upon learned knowledge of the users preferences, tastes and customs are provided. For this purpose a computer-implemented method includes capturing user data of a user from a plurality of sensors, determining a cognitive state of the user from the captured data, correlating the user data to the cognitive state of the user, and making recommendations to the user based on the correlation of the user data and the determined cognitive state of the user.

Cognitive assistant with recommendation capability

Systems and methods for cognitive mobile wallet management are disclosed. In embodiments, a method comprises: obtaining, by a computing device, user contextual data; determining, by the computing device, a potential user purchase and an associated purchase category; and dynamically determining, by the computing device, a flexible spending rule for the purchase category based on one or more stored spending rules and the contextual data, wherein the flexible spending rule changes an amount of currency available to a user through the computing device.

Cognitive mobile wallet management

A method and system for assembling a modular structure from components configured to be fitted together to create the modular structure in accordance with a construction plan. Each component includes: a communication interface; and an output interface configured to generate sensory signals. The components communicate, via the communication interface of each component, with a controller to establish an availability of the components for the modular structure. A target component is determined at the controller from the components based on the construction plan and the availability of the components. The target component is a starting component used for initiating creation of the modular structure in accordance with the construction plan. A first sensory signal indicating the target component to a user is generated by the output interface of the target component.

Assembly of a modular structure

A method and system for improving network interaction is provided. The method includes monitoring biometric attributes of a user and determining a functionality status of a mobile hardware device of the user. A cognitive state of the user is determined based on the biometric attributes of the user and selections associated with transmitting the cognitive state of the user and the functionality status of the mobile hardware device to additional hardware devices of additional users are received via a graphical user interface. A user task interaction plan is enabled based on the cognitive state of the user and the functionality status of the mobile hardware device. The cognitive state of the user, the functionality status of the mobile hardware device, and the user task interaction plan are transmitted to the additional hardware devices.
