A vehicle supercharging system and a control method thereof are disclosed. The vehicle supercharging system includes: an engine generating power according to combustion of a fuel; a transmission including at least one friction clutch; an electric supercharger that compresses air by rotational force of a motor; an engine-side supercharging path part branching from an air supplying line that supplies air to the engine, passing through the electric supercharger, and joining the air supplying line; a transmission-side supercharging path part that sucks air separately from the engine-side air supplying line, passes through the electric supercharger, and supplies compressed air to the transmission; and a controller that operates the electric supercharger according to a driving state of a vehicle and that controls the engine-side supercharging path part for boosting the engine and the transmission-side supercharging path part for cooling or warming the transmission through control of valves.

A vehicle transmission system may include an engine outputting power from fuel combustion, a transmission coupled to the engine and including at least one clutch to control torque input from the engine, an supercharger compressing an intake air and supplying the compressed intake air to the engine, and a control unit, where, when a predetermined acceleration condition is satisfied, the control unit is configured to operate the supercharger and to control the transmission according to a transmission clutch stroke operation map corresponding to the operation of the electric supercharger, to vary an engagement speed of the clutch when the supercharger is operated.

A slider hinge aperture and a slider control aperture parallel to the camshaft are formed through a slider. A hinge shaft is inserted into the housing hinge aperture and the slider hinge aperture. An eccentric cam is formed on a control shaft and is inserted into the slider control aperture. A controller selectively rotates the control shaft to move the wheel housing perpendicular to the camshaft via the slider.

A continuous variable valve duration apparatus may include a camshaft, a cam unit on which a cam is formed, of which the camshaft is inserted thereto and of which a relative phase angle with respect to the camshaft is variable, an inner bracket transmitting rotation of the camshaft to the cam unit, a wheel housing in which the inner bracket is rotatably inserted, on which a guide groove parallel to the camshaft is formed, and on which a guide hole vertical to the camshaft is formed, a guide portion including a guide shaft inserted into the guide hole for guiding movement of the wheel housing and a control portion including a control shaft disposed parallel to the camshaft and inserted into the guide groove, and the control portion selectively rotating the control shaft for the relative position of the wheel housing with respect to the camshaft to be changed.

A continuously variable valve duration apparatus may include: a camshaft; a cam unit on which a cam is formed, and the camshaft inserted to the cam; an inner wheel for transmitting rotation of the camshaft to the cam unit; a wheel housing into which the inner wheel is rotatably inserted and movable perpendicular to the camshaft; a guide shaft on which a guide screw thread is formed and disposed perpendicular to the camshaft; a worm wheel formed with an inner screw thread for engaging with the guide screw thread, and the worm wheel disposed within the wheel housing; and a control shaft on which a control worm for engaging with the worm wheel is formed.

A multiple variable valve lift apparatus disposed at an intake part and an exhaust part of an engine includes: a moving cam rotating together with a camshaft, being movably disposed in an axial direction of the camshaft, and forming a plurality of cams for realizing valve lift to be different from each other and a cam guide protrusion; an operating unit selectively guiding the cam guide protrusion so as to move the moving cam in an axial direction of the camshaft; a controller controlling an operation of the operating unit; and a valve opening/closing unit opened/closed by contacting any one among the plurality of cams.

Multiple variable valve lift apparatus

A multiple variable valve lift apparatus may include a moving cam formed of a hollow cylindrical shape, configured to be moveable in an axial direction of a camshaft while being rotated with the camshaft, and forming a plurality of cams implementing a cam guide protrusion device and different valve lifts from each other; an operation device selectively guiding a cam guide protrusion device to move the moving cam in the axial direction of the camshaft; a controller configured for controlling an operation of the operation device; a valve opening/closing device in contact with any one cam among the plurality of cams; a plurality of stopper grooves formed at an external circumference of the camshaft; and a stopper device provided at the moving cam and inserted to the stopper groove to be rotated at a position after the moving cam is moved.

An engine system may include: an engine including a plurality of combustion chambers generating driving torque by burning fuel; an intake line through which fresh air flows into the combustion chambers; an intake manifold for distributing fresh air supplied by the intake line to the combustion chambers; an exhaust line in which exhaust gas exhausted from the combustion chambers flows; a recirculation line branched from the exhaust line and joined to the intake line; a connection pipe disposed at a portion where the recirculation line and the intake line are joined; and a water line connecting the connection pipe and the intake manifold. Condensate water generated at the connection pipe flows in the water line.

A continuous variable valve duration apparatus may include a camshaft, a cam device on which a cam is formed, of which the camshaft is inserted thereto and of which a relative phase angle with respect to the camshaft is variable, an internal bracket transmitting rotation of the camshaft to the cam device, a wheel housing in which the internal bracket is rotatably inserted and on which a guide groove parallel to the camshaft is formed, a control portion including a control shaft disposed parallel to the camshaft and inserted into the guide groove, and the control portion selectively rotating the control shaft for the relative position of the wheel housing with respect to the camshaft to be changed and a slider housing interposed between the control shaft and the guide groove.

A cooling system of an engine may include a cylinder liner formed in a hollow cylindrical shape and pressed against an inside of a cylinder of the engine, a block coolant jacket positioned in an outer side of the cylinder liner in a radial direction to cool a cylinder block, the cylinder block provided with the cylinder liner and the block coolant jacket therein, and a cylinder head engaged on the cylinder block, including an exhaust port and an intake port fluidically-communicated with a combustion chamber and respectively formed at an exhaust side and an intake side, and provided with a head coolant jacket inside, in which the block coolant jacket includes an upper coolant jacket and a lower coolant jacket and a division wall is disposed between the upper coolant jacket and the lower coolant jacket to block fluid flow therebetween.

Cooling system of engine

A multiple variable valve lift apparatus may include a first moving cam provided to rotate together with a camshaft and move in an axial direction of the camshaft, and configured to form a first cam guide protrusion and a plurality of cams realizing different valve lifts from each other, a second moving cam provided to rotate together with a second camshaft and move in an axial direction of the second camshaft, and configured to form a second cam guide protrusion and a plurality of cams realizing different valve lifts from each other, a first operating device operated to move the first moving cam in a first direction, a second operating device operated to move the second moving cam in a second direction, a controller configured to control operations of the first operating device and the second operating device, and a valve opening/closing device.

An engine system may include main exhaust ports fluidly communicated with each combustion chamber, main exhaust valves opening and closing each main exhaust port, a main exhaust manifold connected with the main exhaust ports, scavenge exhaust ports fluidly communicated with the each combustion chamber, scavenge valves opening and closing the each scavenge exhaust port, a scavenge manifold connected with the scavenge exhaust ports, in which at least a part of an exhaust gas passing through the scavenge manifold is re-circulated to the combustion chamber to be burned.

Disclosed is a variable compression ratio device which changes a top dead center of a piston provided in an engine depending on a driving state of the engine. The variable compression ratio device may include: a lower piston reciprocally movable in a cylinder of the engine and connected with a connecting rod to rotate a crankshaft, an operation chamber, an upper piston disposed above the lower piston and partially inserted into the operation chamber, a push plate dividing the operation chamber into upper and lower spaces, a hydraulic pressure chamber which is the lower space, an elastic member provided in the upper space to push the push plate downward, a hydraulic pressure supply unit selectively supplying hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic pressure chamber, and a hydraulic pressure supply pathway connecting the hydraulic pressure supply unit and the hydraulic pressure chamber for supplying the hydraulic pressure.

Variable compression ratio device

A multiple variable valve lift apparatus may include a camshaft rotating by drive of an engine, at least two cam portions disposed on the camshaft to be movable along an axial direction of the camshaft and to be rotated together with the camshaft, and forming a high cam and a low cam, a valve opening/closing unit operated by one of the high cam or the low cam formed at the cam portion, an operating unit disposed on the camshaft to move together with one of the at least two cam portions, a solenoid selectively moving the operating unit along an axial direction of the camshaft, a interlock unit rotating together with the camshaft, and disposed between one and the other of the cam portions on the camshaft to be movable along an axial direction of the camshaft, and a pin operating unit selectively moving the interlock unit along the camshaft.

A variable valve lift apparatus may include a camshaft, a cam piece having first cams having lift amounts that are different formed at one side thereof, a first cam protrusion portion formed near the first cams that is slidably disposed on the camshaft to rotate with the camshaft, a first guide pin that protrudes on one side of an exterior circumference of the first cam protrusion portion, a first guide that is disposed to correspond to the first cam protrusion portion and in which a first guide groove is formed thereon to move the first cam piece in one direction along the camshaft according to the rotation of the first guide pin, and a first operation portion that moves the first guide toward the first cam protrusion portion such that the first guide pin is inserted into the first guide groove of the first guide.
