Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability to receive a first portion of a tracking reference signal (TRS) and a second portion of the TRS, the first portion and the second portion associated with a TRS pattern. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication of the TRS pattern, where the TRS pattern includes the first portion of the TRS pattern and the second portion of the TRS pattern. The UE may receive one or more TRSs according to the first portion of the TRS pattern and the second portion of the TRS pattern.

Enhanced tracking reference signal patterns

Aspects relate to configuration for channel state information (CSI) signaling. For example, a base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a configuration message indicating report metrics, where each of the report metrics is associated with at least one corresponding CSI resource set of CSI resource sets associated with antenna panels configured for communication with the UE. The base station may further transmit at least one reference signal via at least one of the antenna panels to the UE in accordance with the configuration message. The base station may further receive, from the UE, a CSI report that includes report quantity values respectively associated with the report metrics, where the report quantity values are based on measurement of the at least one reference signal according to the configuration message.

One of the methods is performed at a user equipment (UE). A user equipment (UE) may determine that a multi-panel uplink transmission is to be performed by the UE, the multi-panel uplink transmission using at least a first transmit panel and a second transmit panel of the UE. The UE may identify a priority order for performing uplink transmissions of the multi-panel uplink transmission from the UE, the priority order including priority levels associated with the first transmit panel and the second transmit panel. The UE may identify an available transmit power for the multi-panel uplink transmission. The UE may perform, according to the priority order, the multi-panel uplink transmission using at least the first transmit panel at a first transmit power and the second transmit panel at a second transmit power, the first transmit power and the second transmit power based at least in part on the available transmit power.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a network entity, volume-related information associated with at least one target object, the volume-related information including an estimated position of the at least one target object, an estimated size of the at least one target object, an estimated volume of the at least one target object, an estimated orientation of the at least one target object, an estimated shape of the at least one target object, or any combination thereof, and performs a sensing procedure with the network entity to determine one or more characteristics of the at least one target object based on at least the volume-related information.

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) to determine channel state information (CSI) processing unit (CPU) occupancy of the UE. The UE and the BS may determine that at least one CPU from a CPU pool is occupied by an uplink CSI request from a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) to at least a CSI request occasion. The UE and the BS may determine a number of occupied CPUs, for example, based on an accumulated or aggregated number of occupied CPUs for multiple CSI operations. The UE may perform a number of CSI operations based on the determined number of occupied CPUs. The BS may configure the UE to perform the number of CSI operations, for example, by transmitting one or more of a configuration, activation, or scheduling message.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for group-based physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) overbooking and dropping. One aspect provides a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes: determining a total number of slots for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring for a slot group is larger than a maximum number of monitored slots for the UE for the slot group; and, in response to the determination that the total number of slots for PDCCH monitoring is larger than the maximum number of monitored slots for the UE for the slot group, dropping a first group of search space (SS) sets, wherein the first group of SS sets is selected based on a priority of the first group of SS sets relative to other groups of SS sets.

A user equipment (UE) may identify a set of one or more sidelink resources, and the UE may identify wake-up signal occasions associated with the resources. The UE may monitor for wake-up signals during the wake-up signal occasions, and the UE may further monitor the associated set of one or more resources based on receiving a wake-up signal. In some examples, respective sets of one or more sidelink resources may be associated with a number of multiple-input multiple-output layers used for sidelink communications, or may indicate respective bandwidth parts used for monitoring sidelink transmissions.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration message indicating a first reporting quantity type and a second reporting quantity type for generating a measurement report. The UE may measure a first set of resources in accordance with the first reporting quantity type and a second set of resources in accordance with the second reporting quantity type. The UE may transmit, to the base station, the measurement report including a first measurement payload having the measurement payload size for the first reporting quantity type and a second measurement payload having the measurement payload size for the second reporting quantity type.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication to perform physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring in a first monitoring span, of a first group of slots, and in a second monitoring span, of a second group of slots, wherein a start of the first monitoring span is at least a threshold number of slots away from a start of the second monitoring span. In operation, the UE in the cell (SpCell/SCell) may be configured to operate with beam group specific BFRs, cell-level BFRs, or combinations of them under a beam failure configuration that is determined according to various rules. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) and a UE is disclosed. The method includes determining a beam failure configuration for a serving cell, the beam failure configuration including at least one of a beam failure parameter of a beam group or a beam failure parameter of a cell; and detecting, in the serving cell based at least in part on the beam failure configuration, a beam failure recovery (BFR) based at least in part on the beam failure configuration. The beam failure configuration is determined based on various rules that control the operation of the BFR.

A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a set of transmission occasions usable by the UE for transmitting layer one (L1) reports. The UE may monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) during a first time interval associated with a first grid, of the plurality of grids. The UE may receive an indication to skip PDCCH monitoring based at least in part on monitoring the PDCCH during the first time interval. The UE may monitor the PDCCH during a second time interval associated with a second grid, of the plurality of grids. The UE may not monitor the PDCCH until a start of the second time interval based at least in part on the indication to skip the PDCCH monitoring. Numerous other aspects are described.

An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving, from a network node, a model configuration indicative of a model condition of a channel between the UE and the network node. The example method also includes receiving a measurement resource from the network node to measure a condition of the channel. The example method also includes transmitting, to the network node, an SRS.
