This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) to determine channel state information (CSI) processing unit (CPU) occupancy of the UE. The UE and the BS may determine that at least one CPU from a CPU pool is occupied by an uplink CSI request from a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) to at least a CSI request occasion. The UE and the BS may determine a number of occupied CPUs, for example, based on an accumulated or aggregated number of occupied CPUs for multiple CSI operations. The UE may perform a number of CSI operations based on the determined number of occupied CPUs. The BS may configure the UE to perform the number of CSI operations, for example, by transmitting one or more of a configuration, activation, or scheduling message.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for group-based physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) overbooking and dropping. One aspect provides a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes: determining a total number of slots for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring for a slot group is larger than a maximum number of monitored slots for the UE for the slot group; and, in response to the determination that the total number of slots for PDCCH monitoring is larger than the maximum number of monitored slots for the UE for the slot group, dropping a first group of search space (SS) sets, wherein the first group of SS sets is selected based on a priority of the first group of SS sets relative to other groups of SS sets.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a set of one or more sidelink resources, and the UE may identify wake-up signal occasions associated with the resources. The UE may monitor for wake-up signals during the wake-up signal occasions, and the UE may further monitor the associated set of one or more resources based on receiving a wake-up signal. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration message indicating a first reporting quantity type and a second reporting quantity type for generating a measurement report. The UE may measure a first set of resources in accordance with the first reporting quantity type and a second set of resources in accordance with the second reporting quantity type. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication to perform physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring in a first monitoring span, of a first group of slots, and in a second monitoring span, of a second group of slots, wherein a start of the first monitoring span is at least a threshold number of slots away from a start of the second monitoring span. In operation, the UE in the cell (SpCell/SCell) may be configured to operate with beam group specific BFRs, cell-level BFRs, or combinations of them under a beam failure configuration that is determined according to various rules. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) and a UE is disclosed. The method includes determining a beam failure configuration for a serving cell, the beam failure configuration including at least one of a beam failure parameter of a beam group or a beam failure parameter of a cell; and detecting, in the serving cell based at least in part on the beam failure configuration, a beam failure recovery (BFR) based at least in part on the beam failure configuration. The beam failure configuration is determined based on various rules that control the operation of the BFR.

A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a set of transmission occasions usable by the UE for transmitting layer one (L1) reports. The UE may monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) during a first time interval associated with a first grid, of the plurality of grids. The UE may receive an indication to skip PDCCH monitoring based at least in part on monitoring the PDCCH during the first time interval. The UE may monitor the PDCCH during a second time interval associated with a second grid, of the plurality of grids. The UE may not monitor the PDCCH until a start of the second time interval based at least in part on the indication to skip the PDCCH monitoring. Numerous other aspects are described.

An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving, from a network node, a model configuration indicative of a model condition of a channel between the UE and the network node. The example method also includes transmitting, to the network node, an SRS. In some implementations of the present disclosure, the base station and the UE may support methods and algorithms for deriving multiple timing advance values from a single timing advance value. For example, the base station may transmit a timing advance value to the UE and the UE may derive a timing advance value for each panel of the UE based on the received timing advance value and a timing of downlink signals received at each of the panels of the UE.
